I order Chinese a lot and from different places (I’m a trucker) and I always like to review it. Normally I’m bored out of my mind so, yeah….
I ordered chicken chow mein- it had a good flavor and the vegetables seemed fresh and tasty, but it had so much oil it was almost un-edible. Also, it had maybe 7 little pieces of chicken in whole dish. 2/5 stars
Wonton soup/ mixed with egg drop- was hot, but that’s about it. No flavor, barely any egg, one wonton didn’t have anything in it , just a wonton stuffed with nothing. 1/5 stars
Chicken wings- okay, now admittedly the chicken wings tasted good. I liked them. But, they were definitely the pre frozen kind . It tasted like the kind you would get from a high-school baseball game from that little shack that has corn dogs and French fries. When I order Chinese chicken wings they usually are the same, fried with corn starch or marinated. They were pretty good though so 3/5 stars.
Everything was hot and fresh though. I think they just need to spend a little more time and money to produce a more...
Read moreI can not figure out why this place isn't busier. The empty bowl is my hot and sour soup... or was. Hot and sour soup seems to be like American stew is different wherever you go. Sometimes it's not so good and a little weird and sometimes... it's fantastic! That is this hot and sore soup. It is everything you'd expect. It is spicy, but no so spicy it takes your breath away, perfect amount of heat. The flavor is what you expect from traditional hot and sour soup bursting with flavor! The chicken fried rice was spectacular. Well executed will with, eggs, carrots, peas, chicken and seasoning that gives it a full bodied flavor. The sesame chicken is a star. It has no spice but the amount of sweetness to allow you to devour the whole dish.
This place is empty at 12:30, lunch time! I'm very surprised. If you've not eaten here. Or if you've seen the parking lot empty, don't let that detract you. This place is a gem. The people are very nice. The food is spectacular. $35...
Read moreWow!!! Amazing! I got the wings, egg drop soup and chicken with broccoli with mixed meat lo mein. Wings- Very tasty! HOWEVER, very small. About the size you'd find on a Cornish hen. So, be aware of that. Egg drop soup- Very good! Good density and PLENTY of egg! Chicken with Broccoli- THE best I've EVER had! The sauce was absolutely amazing! I could order just some veggies mixed in the sauce and be content! The chicken in it was just an added bonus. Lastly (YET, far from least), The mixed meat lo mein- it could had used a little more meat. Though, I get that the lo mein should be the focus. All-in-all, it was quite edible! Once, the sauce from the chicken with broccoli got to it, it was definitely better!
This place is definitely worth the money. The food is awesome and the lady that was at the register was very friendly. I look forward to the next time I'm in the area just so I can order from here, again!
Love, peace and food...
