TL;DR: Popeyes always excels in flavor, offering the best in American fast-food fried chicken. Despite the somewhat smaller portions, their variety of wings and sides made for an excellent experience. The service was top-notch, especially in handling a large order for our group.
Full Review: Popeyes has long been a staple in the realm of American fast-food fried chicken, and they continue to deliver exceptional flavor. Despite a slight shortcoming in portion size, the quality and taste more than make up for it. Our recent visit to this particular location, which had the daunting task of fulfilling a massive group order, proved to be a fantastic experience.
We sampled every flavor of wings available—Signature Hot, Honey BBQ, Sweet n Spicy, Roasted Garlic Parmesan, and Lemon Pepper. Each flavor brought its own unique and delicious twist, with the Signature Hot offering a perfect kick, the Honey BBQ providing a sweet and smoky delight, and the Roasted Garlic Parmesan delivering a rich, savory experience. The Lemon Pepper wings were a refreshing and zesty option, while the Sweet n Spicy offered a delightful balance.
In addition to the wings, we also indulged in the chicken tenders, mac and cheese, coleslaw, and fries. The tenders were juicy and flavorful (and crispy!), a great choice for those who prefer a boneless option. The mac and cheese was creamy and comforting, while the coleslaw provided a fresh, tangy contrast. The fries, seasoned just right, were a perfect accompaniment to the meal.
Our group order consisted of around 140+ wings and more, and despite the size of the order, the service was impeccable. The staff handled everything efficiently and courteously, ensuring that our large party received everything hot and fresh. The attention to detail and excellent customer service were greatly appreciated.
Popeyes remains a top choice for fast-food fried chicken. The variety of flavors and sides, combined with great service, made for an outstanding experience at this location. Whether you're a fan of spicy, sweet, or savory, there's something for everyone. Despite the slightly smaller portions, the quality of food and service makes Popeyes a highly recommended spot for delicious...
Read moreCame in around 6:20 pm tonight to grab some food to take home to my family. Before I ordered, I went to use the bathroom but had to wait because an employee was in there. When he came out, he walked straight past me and right into the kitchen. First red flag, I never heard the hand dryer go off. When I finally got into the bathroom, it was just gross. The toilet seat was covered in urine. The employee who just left it like that looked like a manager (a shorter, heavy set guy with a beard in a gray collared shirt). For a manager to see that and just walk away is just lazy and disgusting. To top it all off, when I went to the counter, I saw the SAME GUY handling the chicken. He was using tongs, but he had no gloves on. After knowing he just came from that nasty bathroom and probably didn't wash his hands, there was no way I was letting him make my family's food. I walked right out. I'm putting this out there so other people know, and so hopefully, someone higher up sees this. That's just a recipe for getting...
Read moreI'm just about always satisfied with my visits to this Popeyes location. To be fair, yeah, the store and the parking lot are small... but hey, welcome to most fast food joints directly off the side of a busy highway. I can see that some reviewers are quite bothered by that aspect, but it doesn't really bother me much, personally. The food and service are perfectly worth any minor inconveniences, in my opinion. Once in a blue moon there might be an issue with accuracy, but it's pretty rare, and that happens at every single restaurant I've ever been to, so again, it's just not that big a deal to me, since it's such an infrequent issue. I've been to this location enough times to have a well rounded opinion of the place, and so far, I am overwhelmingly satisfied with the majority of my experiences at this Popeyes location. The price is the biggest thing that keeps me from going more often, but that's a thing with pretty much all fast food in general...
