Middlesex Fried Chicken & Gyro — Restaurant in Middlesex

I have been a customer and order twice a week on DoorDash, sometimes three times a week when I first started buying from there the food was amazing. And the last three months have been receiving food specially the chicken that stale and dry the rice is old the plantains are burnt and oily and today was the final straw that I had with your place never again. My kids go there my family goes there, I am sending them a text now and never to order from your place again. It seems that the ownership and the people working there don’t care about their customers. I also sent a letter of complaint to DoorDash to let them know what bad quality of food you guys have. I don’t mess up, but when you try to take shortcuts and try to people what happens. This is the way businesses go out of business by customers like me stop shopping and getting your band name out there to all their family and friends. Disappointing and Expensive. Being a Portuguese Spanish grill I kind of expected more flavor and soul. I ordered a Rib Sandwich expecting a lot of flavor and an overall good sandwich, and honestly it wasn’t that good. It wasn’t seasoned well if at all kind of tasted like plain pork. Not to mention they gave me half a Dixie cup of sauce that was probably as much as you get in a single ketchup packet. Each topping cost extra and the cheese was cold? The fries were fine but again nothing unique or Worth going back for. It was a $17 meal (plus they ask for tips??) that tasted like an $8 meal. Definitely won’t go back. I ordered the family meal 1/2 chicken 1/2 pork ribs with the 5 sides. I also ordered two tea drinks.

The chicken was good. The rice and plantains were good. The drinks were also pretty good. Cole slaw was okay. Fries were cold and soggy. The pork ribs was the worst part. They were a little too salty, and hard to chew, and very cold. One side of each rib was super greasy and could not even be bitten into. I don’t think the ribs were made to order, seems like they were sitting for a long time. I have had ribs before that were fresh, they usually fall right off the bone.
