Tucked away in a town that has grown beyond its humble beginnings, the Little Burger Shack remains a beacon of nostalgia and uncomplicated delight. With no pretense of grandeur, this establishment welcomes its patrons into a world where quality and care are paramount. It's immediately clear that this isn't just another fast-food joint; it's a place where every burger tells a story of dedication. The menu, albeit a tad confusing at first glance, is a testament to the Shack's commitment to providing a memorable dining experience. The star of the show is undoubtedly the burger topped with succulent mushrooms, a dish that harmonizes simplicity with depth of flavor. Side options like crispy onion rings, golden tater tots, and fries served with a signature sauce complement the main dish, elevating the meal to a culinary adventure. The selection of Coca-Cola products rounds out the offerings, ensuring that there's something for every palate. Despite its modest appearance, the Little Burger Shack stands out for its ability to transport its visitors back to a simpler time. It's a place where the food speaks louder than words, promising a journey back to the roots of hometown dining. For anyone yearning for that classic small-town burger joint experience, look no further. This is where you'll find not just a meal, but a piece of history, lovingly preserved one burger at a time.

I ordered the 208 Burger, which is pretty typical of their offerings: elaborate toppings in tasty and unflinching variety atop a small, low quality beef patty. I would call that their only flaw; if they would invest a little more money into a thicker, better quality patty (or two), their burgers would taste like the amazing burgers they are instead of like a pile of toppings mostly successfully trying to hide the taste of poor quality meat. Unrelated, I think they should work on their food descriptions a bit. While I was eating I got to witness several customers receiving what was presumably their first time orders, and most expressed incredulity at how different their order was from what they expected. For instance, the 208 Burger lists "deep fried pickles" on it. I think most customers would assume there were breaded, deep-fried pickle chips, but they would actually receive breaded pickle spears balanced atop the burger. One customer even returned the burger upon seeing his oder. Managing expectations is easy, just put "deep fried pickle SPEARS" in the menu description. Ditto for other vague ingredients. Just ask the servers which menu items get the most confused reactions.

Five stars to a Two-star...One of the best places in Middleton to Great get a great hamburger.... I wrote that review 2 years ago and I had given it a five star. Today on January 5th 2021 my family and I went and I know they've been slow in the past and rightfully so if you're making orders as they come through. Tonight we waited 30 minutes I have never in my lifetime waited 30 minutes in a Drive-Thru and never will again. There was no explanation to why it was taking so long. It didn't look like they were short-handed because when we pulled up to pay there were four to five employees standing there trying to figure out all the orders. After we paid we waited another 10 minutes I would love an explanation why it would take 40 minutes to make three cheeseburgers cheeseburgers, I think a tater tots and a chocolate milkshake. And to top it off the hamburgers are not very hot they're very thin and dried out and the tater tots are cold and smashed. Maybe they're all having a bad night and hopefully they can get things figured out because it used to be a great little hamburger joint in Middleton and I would love to go back and try it again but I won't be anytime soon.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE*. I just got home from there and ordered 4 kids meals. According to their menu, the kids meals are supposedly priced at $5.50 each...including tax it should have come out to $23.32......Instead they charged me $28.50. I asked for a breakdown of my payment and why it was so high....apparently because of COVID, and in order to not raise prices, they are charging 8% tax instead of 6% (not sure who is getting the extra 2%), they also charge an additional $2.00 service charge (for what, I don't know), AND they charge extra for the chocolate milk which used to be included in the kids menu price.....WHAT!? So in order to not raise prices, you are raising prices deceptively? What you are doing is dishonest, unless I was misinformed by one of your employees. I understand that the cost to do business can change, but your listed prices should reflect that...honest, upfront and without several hidden fees. How are you charging an additional 2 % tax? when the government legally only will take 6%? So this is SUPER SHADY. Middleton has a 0% local sales tax, so definitely should be 6%. Not to mention the actual food. So we get home and actually look at the burgers ...WOW! the beef patties are literally 1/4 of the size of what they used to be....so much so that the buns look over-sized and about 80% of this burger is bread...The meat looks old, dry and paper thin. And to make it worse, both of my kids complained of stomach pain right after eating it....I'm not making this up. I will absolutely NOT be returning to this place until the quality and deceptive pricing issues are resolved. This is NOT California, people here do not support taxation without representation, and we most certainly, more than anything, DO NOT want it to become...

Food was delicious and the Cherry malt was awesome.. Update and Edit from 12/6/18 We got 4 meals, 2 kids and 2 adult. Both adult meals had little to no sauce very dry and underwhelming. My husband who eats leftovers 3 days old wouldnt finish his burger and that says alot. We had to add alot to our burger from home to be able to eat them. I got the same burger 2 weeks ago and it had different ingredients and I actually enjoyed it. Service was still very slow and unprofessional then. The kids seemed to be fine with theirs. I normally don't review badly unless its well deserved.. This happened to me before when I contacted the new owner because the chicken fried steak I got was so hard I couldn't cut it with a fork and knife. She offered me the same meal to try again at 1/2 price which was still not very good but edible.. Today the employees seemed less than motivated, food was horrible and we waited at the window for about 5 mins before even a "Hello" or "We will be with you in a moment.." Not even any eye contact to let us know they knew we were even there. This was after we waited in the line for about 15 minutes. The people behind us seemed very aggravated and drove off before we even got to the window. (There was only 1 truck ahead of us).. Id say they are unprofessional and need some serious training. This may be my last try here since 3 out of the 5 times I visited this place, it has been beyond...
