Casa Mexico — Restaurant in Middleton

Casa Mexico in Middleton is the WORST place to eat. Their customer service is lacking. A group of three was sat about a minute before us and received their food before we even ordered our drinks. It took about 20 minutes for them to take our drink order. We asked for bean dip for the chips twice and in the thirty minutes we were there after asking never got the bean dip. After being at the restaurant for about 45 minutes they began bringing out our food. They brought my son’s food first. Then a couple minutes later came out with two burritos. The waitress thought both burritos were different than they actually were. I ended up with my husband’s burrito and the people sitting in an adjacent table ended up with my burrito. The waitress went to the back to ask what burritos she had brought out and came back and TOOK THE BURRITO OF THE TABLE ADJACENT TO US AND GAVE IT TO MY HUSBAND. I looked at her and said, “Did you just take that off of their table and give it to us?” The waitress took the burrito back. My husband then told them just to pack up the two meals we had and we were leaving. They took 10 minutes to bring boxes because they finished cooking my burrito which we didn’t want any longer. When the owner was confronted about the customer service in his restaurant he accused us of lying about never getting the bean dip. He informed us that our table had not been cleared and we could go check. Upon arriving at our table that had not been cleaned there was no bean dip. The owner then changed his story to our kids (a four year old and a twenty-one month old) must have taken it. Yes….. my kids stole the dish of bean dip without us knowing….. I...

If I could give it a negative stars rating I would. Awful service from the waitress, the waitress gave our food to a different table, my friend ordered a hamburger the bun was completely burned, and the burger was bloody nowhere near fully cooked, we order more chips and salsa and had to order it again when it had been 30 min and still no chips, the menu says that the burritos come with beans but apparently that means inside the burrito. When I talk to the manager/owner he got really angry because he cooked the food and it was "fine", and even though we were there for over an hour and it took over 40 mins to get our food "it didn't take that long"... I was trying to explain my frustration to the manager in a polite way and he was just plain angry with me. He kept touching me while raising his voice and then I just gave up trying to explain my frustration to him and just said ok and he left and went back into the kitchen. A few minutes later he comes out and hit my arm pushing me over into my friend and pretty much yells at me and points to another customer and says "that man has been ordering the same burrito for ten years and has never had a problem!" I honestly should've called the cops because he technically assaulted me. We just got up, paid, and left. We ordered a chimichanga with rice and beans, and the Chilli rellano meal with rice and beans. When we got our order, there is like 2 tablespoons of beans on the chimichanga plate and as far as the chili Rellano plate, the eggs in the chili rellano were rubber. And the enchilada sauce was disgusting and tasted like metal so you know it came straight out of a can. To add to all of this when we tried to talk to the server about the tiny bit of beans on the plate we were told that’s all that comes with it so when the manager came out and tried explaining to me, the portion size that they’re supposed to serve on each plate. I had her take a look at the beans on my boyfriends plate, and she tried to come up with some excuse about the beans being in a different batch so we tried to pile the beans up on my boyfriends plate and showed her that’s 2 tablespoons full of beans, and all she wanna do is argue with us and so we sent his meal back. Not once did even the manager try to help out the situation by just saying OK we can grab you a little bowl of beans to make us happy. Then they tried to charge us for the meal that we sent back and then sat there and argued with me at the cash register when I was trying to pay for my meal.
