Middleton Espresso Cafe — Restaurant in Middleton

When I go to Middleton expresso, which I've done multiple times, I have ordered decaf Americano 24 oz with oat milk and 10 Splenda. Never had a problem before. Always, everybody is really nice there. But the owner has never been there before when I've been there. First of all, they charge $1.50 extra now if you ask for oat milk and they charge 75 cents extra for anything over eight Splenda. So my coffee went from $3.98 to $5.98. I told her just put eight Splenda and do half and half because I'm not spending all that extra money. The hot coffee then spills all over me and the inside of my car because someone didn't put the lid on correctly and the owner spoke very rude to me and did not give me another coffee but only returned my money. I went there for my coffee. I will not be returning to that...

I've been coming to Middleton Espresso since they opened many years ago (when I lived in Middleton). It is by far my most favorite coffee shop!

Nothing more disappointing than getting to the coffee shop 5-10 minutes before closing (after driving from kuna), open sign is on, only to get to the window after waiting for 2 other cars to be told "Sorry guys we actually close at 3, and the car in front of you was the last car we were serving.

It would be appreciated if they turned off the open sign, or had some indication that if your car doesn't get to the window before 3, you will be turned away.

Had known, I would have walked in and ordered so my drive from Kuna for my favorite coffee on a lovely Saturday, wasn't a waste.

We ordered three drinks from the drive thru, and it took almost 20 minutes to get them. At first, we were handed someone else’s drinks, and when we finally got ours, they were still made incorrectly.

There appeared to be about five employees working, so I’m not sure why things were moving so slowly. It felt disorganized and uncoordinated inside.

Customer service was disappointing as well. When I asked what the drink of the day was, the barista didn’t know and came back with “butterscotch and stuff.” When I asked if it could be made half sweet, her response was, “I guess so.”

We just moved to this area and were really hoping to find a great local coffee spot, but unfortunately this first impression was not good at all. Very...
