So my daughter and I tried this restaurant in Middleton because it had really good reviews, I have never been so disappointed. First of all the woman behind the counter was extremely rude to us not nice at all. We wanted to order just 1 Birria Taco but were told if we only get one we have to pay three dollars for a side of the dipping sauce because it doesn't come with just one taco , you have to order 3 tacos, so we did. And we ordered the nachos.. we also got a soda and a slice of banana nut bread. The Birria tacos had absolutely zero flavor. I don't know who cooks their meat or makes the sauce, but they do not use any seasonings whatsoever. That was the most bland food I've ever eaten. The nachos , we did not like them. The Asada steak was chewy and it had way too much cheese sauce and no real cheese.. the banana bread was extremely chewy. Kind of like worse than a brownie , and absolutely no banana flavor whatsoever so I don't know why they call it banana bread. More appropriately. It should've been called. Cardboard bread . Overall, the experience was not good. We paid $36 for something that we couldn't eat. I did eat two of my Birria tacos only because I was hungry but there was no flavor. I hate to leave such a bad review but with the woman being rude and I'm pretty sure telling us we couldn't get just one taco was because they were slow and needed the money. And then the absolute lack of flavor...... I definitely will never go...

The food is good, fresh, and hot. If you just want a good meal to take out, at a high cost, then you won't be disappointed. But, if you go in person and stay to eat, you may feel like an inconvenience. When we walked into the restaurant, we were greeted with a blank stare and then asked what we would like to order. No, hello. Nothing nice whatsoever. We ordered and sat down to wait for our food. It was dropped off at our table, and that was that. Never asked if we needed anything else. Never asked if we were ok. Nothing. Personality: zero. Also, music was way too loud. I kinda thought I was at a bar, but no one was offering beer. Also, we had to shout to talk to each other. Finally, don't expect anything other than the food you order at a high price. Sadly, I do like the food but will go to other Mexican food restaurants in town that at least have personality and make you feel welcomed rather than a burden because you would like to shop local and...

The food is great and I compare to other mexican grilled food, including the chain store grills. Where my complaints are, is first in the reception you receive when you walk in. Two different employees made me feel like i was in the way when i walked in. One was just strighting up, the other was the one who took my order. Like they could not care less if I was there. That's not customer service! Every customer who walks through the door can be repetitive customers and or can tell a friend who will be their next best customer. That's how you grow a business.

My concerns about the food would be, the beans are just a bit too soupy, but great flavor. The rice just the way I like it. Chicken was very well prepared! The green salsa could be a bit it thicker.

Keep up the good cooking and try to make your customers feel welcome when they walk in. Your business will grow with those changes.

I'll will be...

It was all good, I wouldn't say anything was amazing, but I will say they have some pretty good Al Pastor and Carnitas. If I was meeting a client there those would be the two I go with. Al Pastor had little pieces of pineapple. Those really add to it. The chicken is good, as you would assume from the name. The Chorizo and Asada were both basic. The tacos were all pretty small, especially for $2.50 a piece. It made it one of the pricier street tacos plates I've had in a while. There are many bigger more filling tacos here in the valley for that price (or less). They have a spicy red salsa and's a very mild green salsa, plus hot sauces at the tables. Those were both good, and the double tortillas spent a little time on the grill. Like I said- it was all good. 4/5 stars 7.7 out if 10

Unfortunately this was the second time in a row I felt ripped off and disappointed. For the price of my asada burrito I expected it be loaded with meat and veggies and beans like other local food trucks/restaurants. Instead it was mostly rice and had little flavor as you can see in the photo. I had asked for a spicy salsa on the side but was only offered a mild very little flavor salsa verde. I asked for a jar of the spicy salsa and it was $9, the price surprised me but I pay $10 for Aye Que Pica salsa at the Boise coop and it’s worth it, but this sadly was not. I’m not overly critical I mean I’ll eat Los Betos or Taco Bell any day happily but was truly bummed I spent $22 here for the burrito and salsa.

Update: spoke directly with the owner and he was able to provide me with a refund. I have really enjoyed the tortillas and beans here in the past, and look forward to eating here again given the good service. Preordered tortillas and beans for a party and was extremely disappointed. We've gotten their tortillas numerous times before. This time, though, when we picked them up they were definitely not their house made tortillas; they tasted like the blandest store bought tortillas. The beans also just tasted like they were canned. I felt like I could have just gone to Walmart and picked up the ingredients and had the same experience, for a fraction of the cost.
