I typically go here one Sunday a month. Usually when I dont have my wife or kids with me. The bagels are as good as they get. I can't imagine a bagel being any better than these. Always super fresh. Always well stocked with all varieties. I have ZERO qualms with the food, or the reasonable, competitive pricing. That's why I come here and will continue to come here.
My only issues are with the priorities of the staff. They have about four or five young college kids behind the counter, as they should, but they dont understand the importance of taking care of the customer that is in front of them first. It is super frustrating standing in front of the counter for nearly 6 minutes without even being greeted. Don't get me wrong, they are ALWAYS super friendly and I understand it could get busy, but there should be dedicated stations for each employee. I saw five kids running around all doing different things, and it really impacted their ability to serve their most important customers. There should be one person on the register at all times, taking orders from the walk-in customers. One person just doing bagels/spreads, a phone and online order person, a deli person. There were seven people in line behind me at one point. It would do everybody a great service to take the walk-in orders immediately. Those are the most important customers. And usually the people who write these reviews.
The Dining area isn't fancy, but it doesnt need to be. It's always clean, and there is plenty of seating. They have a good drink selection, but not the best coffee options. The tuna is...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBeen here 2 times: Once about a year ago, my first visit from a local. I was one of two customers in the store. 3 employees waiting on the other customer who was a āregularā and kept adding to his order, I gave my order for a simple bagel a cream cheese. Bagel sat for about 10 minutes w/o being completed while all 3 employees attended to the āregularā customer, I walked out. Today I ordered 3 bagels, two sesame with vegetable cream cheese, one everything bagel w/plain cream cheese. Left a nice tip in a heavy tipped and extremely large tip jar taking up a fair portion of the counter... every bagel was wrong. Word of advice is also not to allow customers to park directly in front of your store, right on top of the āNo parking fire zoneā paint on the pavement b/c that person...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhen everything is right these bagels are delicious. Stars for the young redhead gentleman who is ever present And with it. however, when heās notā¦. Youāre on your own Recently purchased bagels and got home to find half of them burned. In another instance on a Sunday morning ( usually the busiest of days for these type establishments) they ran out of whole wheat bagels at 9 am.. with no plan of making more until they sell out other types. (Poor forecasting perhaps? ) Sadly we can only eat whole wheat for dietary reasons hence we had to find a neighboring establishment who did. I hope the owner reads this in order to rectify the forecasting issues. I would like to continue to buy from hereā¦.when they...
