Aleo Italian Specialties — Restaurant in Middletown Township

I wish I can leave a 10 star here! I've been to Aleo catering events before in the past, and yes they were always great, but yesterday was the first ive used at my own event, and i have to say that I have been absolutely blown away by this one! I had approximately 30 guests at my backyard event, at almost 100°F outside and I did the BBQ package. Aside from the food being nothing but delicious, but the man behind the grill, Keith, made the party! He was so helpful in every single way possible, he made a killer bbq set up, and asked each guest if they wanted anything cut open specially or cooked something a certian way! Just incredible interaction with my guests....He helped clean off the tables, he helped me and my husband carry bags of ice in the beginning of the party. Those are just a few of things, ALL of my guests were very happy with Keith and if course the food! If you are reading this review to see whether or not Aleo catering packages is an option for your event!...... 10000% it is the right choice you will NOT be sorry. And if you happen to get Keith as your BBQ master lol you will be very very lucky!!!!! Thank you so much Aleo and Keith for knocking my backyard party yesterday off the charts! Should be no stars. My mother just spoke to a woman named Paula on the phone in an attempt to order an antipasto platter. She was told that they're busy and she doesn't have time to talk and tried to rush her through the order. My mother has a brain injury and Paula was being very rude to her. After my mother QUICKLY decided to order a $60 antipasto platter, the woman told her she would need to pay with a credit card number. My mother had to get up and go get the number. Apparently she wasn't moving quickly enough for Paula. I could hear the entire conversation on the phone. Paula was speaking to someone in the store and said that my mother was rude for putting her on hold. My mother had nicely asked if she could hold on while she gets the number. My mother started to get annoyed and said, "I didn't put you on hold." As my mother got the credit card number, the woman said "I'm sitting here waiting." The woman was very rude and abrupt. She didn't have customer service skills and upset my mother quite a bit. This business may have great food and reviews, but this experience made them lose one customer....

This place is a staple for NJ pizza. If you have the argument with anyone about NY pizza vs. NJ pizza, bring them to this place for a taste! Also, I am gluten free and they have some great pizza, calzones and more for GF. If you have celiac you may want to be wary; you never know what may have happen to all the ingredients inside ANY restaurant.

A great story about this place is that - I live to far to have them deliver it to my home, but they actually had a delivery boy that lived near the area and told me that he could bring me food on his way home. We were only able to have it work out once, since he gets off late, but they didn't need to do that at all.

This company makes sure to hire people like that, which is sets the tone for the kind of place they are. Great food, Great people equals a Great...
