Rainbow Sushi — Restaurant in Middletown Township

Ordered through DoorDash. Restaurant chose to use their own delivery driver from the restaurant. Took over two hours for them to basically not deliver it to my house. Called restaurant twice while waiting for delivery and was told it was coming soon. After it did not get delivered I called the restaurant to inform them they delivered it to the wrong address and was told that they never received my order. I then had to basically argue with them on the phone until they eventually admitted that they did receive my order and the delivery driver said he called me, never did, and had trouble finding it. I came in for the lunch special and got eel cucumber roll and regular cucumber roll. I think there might have been an issue with the particular batch of cucumbers used to make my rolls because both rolls tasted very bitter and soapy. I brought it up to my waitress and she just brought out another cucumber roll which I didn’t want to eat because I guessed that they would taste the same as the first. I tried one to be nice and was met with the same bitter flavor. Long story short, staff seemed nice but didn’t really seem to understand the problem and I’m worried that other people will have the same experience. I went in at 4:30 just as they opened. I was shown to a table by the waitress who seemed like she was in a rush, though I was the only person in the place. I order the Spicy Maki Combo. The entire time I was there the waitress seemed like she was rushing. When the rolls came out, they were mostly rice, there was nothing spicy about them and the yellowtail roll had that "fishy" taste that you definitely don't want from sushi. I came here because of the proximity to the school, though if I want sushi between classes again, I might bite the bullet, drive to Red Bank, pay a bit more but get...
