Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Middletown Township

This review is from a former manager of Dominos. I worked for Domino's from 1997 to 2009 and I can be super critical of orders I place from a Domino's since I ran 5 Star Locations that were larger (I had numerous Record Weeks that averaged $15,000 to $25,000 sales week in Chester County).

I ordered from this location off Durham Rd today since it is closest to my in-laws. I took advantage of the online $5.99 mix and match deal. We ordered a medium, handtossed pizza, light sauce. Half plain, half pepperoni and mushrooms with a side order of cheesybread. I placed order at 1:19pm. It was done by 1:28pm. Went inside to pick up order. Only one gentleman in store but he was super polite and assisted us quickly. Even with 10 minute drive to house, it was still hot and fresh! My 9 year old daughter said it was the best cheesybread and pizza she ever had, and we order from Domino's alot! I was impressed with the amount of pepperoni and mushrooms on my half of our medium pizza. Covered my side completely! Didn't touch my daughter's plain side, perfectly cut. Plus it was light sauce which was how we ordered it. The cheesybread was super cheesy and perfectly baked. Think I will be going out of my way from now on to order from this location next time we want Domino's. They make the pizza perfect and I honestly couldn't have made it better for myself. Horrible service. I would have given 0 stars if i could. Took an hour and a half to bake the order. Was baking on the tracker and then stopped and started over preparing and baking again. An hour went by and the pizza was still not finished. Then when the order was completed over an hour later it was out for delivery and took another half hour. I specifically said on the instructions brown house with green shutters and she still went to the yellow house. Then when she got here, mind you i had to wave her down, she didnt even pull up in the driveway or come to the door. I went to her. She started going off on me. Saying she didn't deserve to be spoken to that way. First of all she didn't talk to me ad secondly she was very disrespectful to me, the customer, after i waited almost 2 hours for my pizza and it was cold! How dare you talk to me that way Amandeep. I am a customer. And when i tried to get two words in (nicely) even after the way she talked to me she said it wasn't her problem it took 2 hours for the cold pizza to get to us. I ordered a handful of times from this place and the food has always arrived very, very late and cold, often with an excuse tacked on (or in one case, an obvious lie about me being first in the delivery, which the store had countered earlier by calling and saying I was third, as well as some bizarre flattery about wanting to deliver to me fast since the manager said I was a good customer and “nice lady”...I had only just moved there and ordered for the first time).

The “tracker” is a joke...tonight it said my sandwich sat in “Last-minute quality check“ for half an hour, then “left the store“. Forty minutes later, I get a call from the driver who was apparently just leaving then. Almost two hours for a sandwich four miles away.

Despite Dominos advertising contactless delivery-only during COVID, the deliveryman arrived COUGHING, no face mask, no gloves, tried to hand the food directly to me and said contactless delivery was “not in his instructions.” It was.

I only order from here when everything else is closed and I have no groceries, but...
