This was our first visit and color me impressed! We were greeted warmly by the valet parking attendant. He pointed us to the entrance and we made our way in through the heavy curtains into a very beautiful and romantic candlelit room. Frank Sinatra was singing in the background. There were four of us and we were celebrating my birthday. The server, Blake, and the runner, Jonathan were top notch. Really the best of the best. Very attentive and intuitive when they needed to be. Their timing was perfect. Water glasses constantly filled. Blake checked in from time to fine to check on us and asking if we needed anything. Very professional and made some recommendations. The bread service with seasoned oil was perfect. The wine was opened and poured right away. And the order was taken when we were ready to order. The appetizers came out quickly and were delicious. Both the calamari and meatballs were a perfect 10 out of 10. For entrees two of us had the veal chop (either with a vodka Parmesan sauce or served saltimbocca style) another had the lemon chicken and I had the lamb chops. We all enjoyed our entrees. For dessert we had a freshly made pistachio gelato and a delicate lemony olive oil cake. Both superb. I can’t wait to go back and introduce more friends to this exceptional...
Read moreDidn't even know this place was here. My wife told me about , I believe open since Fall 2024. It mixes a vibe of a trendy place vs something you would experience on Mulberry street in the 80 and 90s. Staff from valet to bus boys are very professional , well trained and friendly. Our Server (forget his name) was thoughtful friendly and a true professional. Perfectly stuck attentivness without being overbearing. My wife and sone shared 3 app. ( Finnochio salad, baked clams and special baked calamari) all three award winners and both coming back for just that) I am a very tough baked clam critic so even a good review is a tough feat. These were outstanding. Entree was Lamb chops, veal aleo, and Cavattelli with Sausage. Three more winners. The Veal was the standout. Dessertbwas the Olive oil cake which was only thing that was subpar. In their defense our Server recommended the tiramisu. Its BYOB. But I bet there is a liquor license in the future. There is a small nook that would be a nice bar area plus, I can imagine some interesting wine pairings. I bit pricey...
