Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard — Restaurant in Middletown Township

Hello! I visited the Durham Road Rita’s this weekend and was not only not greeted but also given an attitude by the associate. She proceeded to take almost 20 minutes to make the three items I had asked for her to make. She then proceeded to slam all 3 items when she was finished making them. By the time we got the last item the first item was already melted. When handed the spoons we said “thank you” and not even a “you’re welcome” was given back. I am very disappointed in the customer service I received from Delaney. She was very rude and did not care about the customer. I come from a customer service background as I have worked at wawa for 4 1/2 years as well as working all holidays including Christmas Day and I have never given that much attitude towards a customer before. That was by far the worst customer service interaction I have had in a very long time. I know for sure now that if I see Delaney working, I’m turning around and getting back in my car and heading to a different location. I'm going to be completely 100% honest- the young kid serving me seemed like it very well might have been his first day at his first job, and he is young, so I am not upset with him nor anyone specific at this Rita's. But I wish it were more coherent and observant of it's customers. I visited yesterday and ordered 3 items. I wanted two ices, one root beer and one sour watermelon, to be the same kid's size- but I was charged for two different sizes. The cups I were given were the same size, but one was a "small" and one was a "kids." they were both filled to the top. Further, more upsettingly, I was waiting for a good 15 minutes in the freezing cold while two other customers parked their cars, ordered at the window to my left, paid, and drove away before I was even able to pay. I understand it was likely this kid's first day, but it was freezing (my fault for going) and he would take a few minutes just staring at the register or at the cup holder. This was our first time coming to this location. We stood in line behind 2 people and waited for about 15 minutes just be ignored at the window when it was our turn. All the workers walked past us and we stood there for about 5 minutes while people behind us got served. Not really sure what the issue was. We left and went to another Rita’s location down the road and they greeted us immediately and we were out within 3 minutes. Most likely will not return to...
