Dragon Express — Restaurant in Middletown

The lady who takes the orders is absolutely rude. I have picked up orders before and have heard her put customers on hold and then call them “stupid” and “morons” many many times. I guess it really never bothered me, except the fact it’s a place of business and her actions are VERY unprofessional! Thise “stupid moron customers” placing orders is how this lady gets PAID!

Well this past week I had my run in with her. I tried placing an online order and their website accepted and was processing my payment card. It kept trying to process for 20 minutes. I tried to stop it and I couldn’t, the page was locked. So I made the mistake of calling Dragon Express. I initially asked how long delivery was, and finding out I wouldn’t get my order until well after 10pm I decided against ordering food.

I tried explaining to this rude lady that I attempted to make a online order and it’s still processing and I can not stop it. I wanted to leave my name and address so that if it did process she could refund the money ($30) as I no longer wanted delivery. She wouldn’t even listen to me. She just kept saying “I don’t have your order” over and over. She continually cut me off by speaking over me and time and time again she would not allow me to explain myself let alone speak. Then...she screams “you’re crazy” and hung up on me! I called back 2X and she would not answer. The 3rd call a man answered. He asked her if she called me crazy, and do you know she denied it?

This lady is very touchy and is ALWAYS upset. She’s NEVER happy! How stressful is it to take orders over the phone? I mean really! She makes the business look absolutely horrible.

I’m never going back! Until the this lady is gone! No one wants treated that way and no one wants to come into their restaurant and CONSTANTLY hear her freaking out and calling people names. It’s a restaurant....not a drama center!

P.S. after reading other reviews, it appears I’m not the ONLY person that’s had a “run-in” with this lady and thinks she’s rude! They’ve lost quite a few customers because...

In my own opinion... Myself, personally speaking is that I think that Dragon Express is The Most Amazing Chinese Take-out, around here!! Jim is one of the best, and super friendly, and kindest Delivery Men that they have there! Ask for Jim if he's working please, just trust me!!! Please give the Delivery/Drivers, Men & Women, a good tip, if you're actually able to, I do understand that some people are just simply not able to and that's 100% understandable, I have been there before. So I'm most definitely not saying anything derogatory about any other Customers at all, so no one take offense please!!! I'm peaceful! I always do personally give a great tip to The Drivers/Delivery Men & Women,! 😊 They very much deserve it! They've delivered to me in rain, sleep, snow, and even practically a blizzard, they are all such very hard, great workers, and lovely people! The food & Drinks, that I've always ordered from there, has always, never been less quality for myself, than hot & fresh, and very delicious, as well! Their service, and delivery time is also very excellent! I've hardly ever had to wait even 45 min. for delivery time, even on the busiest days they have! I very much highly Recommend them & highly Recommend, Delivery Man Jim!!!...

Don't work for these people! I really have been brought up better than to speak ill of others but two stars was being generous I repeat don't work for these people. I'm sure they will reply to this review with something acidicly nasty go ahead just prove my point. Don't expect to see any smiling faces around these folks unless you're handing them money. The manager is somebody who needs to try a different Church to get her Christian values right. She's been reviewed by several several several people none of them good. She has her hands in everybody's Pockets including the owners. Alright your turn. Go ahead and say something nasty about this Golden Buckeye Navy veteran. Money could be made there is a delivery person but manager cost you too much money in the long run. If they decide they want to give you a hard time for some imagined slight they Delight in sending you from one end of town to the other with little hope of tips for the neighborhoods are sending you to. Delivery fees are ambiguous at best one day it will be one price for going way out there the next day you get the minimum depends on what kind of mood...
