Eaters Chicken & fish — Restaurant in Middletown

First time ordering from here for a Christmas dinner I was having at my house. They was suppose to call me yesterday with a price but I guess my order wasn’t too important for them to call. So I called them today with my order to feed 6 adults. Fish, chicken, shrimp, coleslaw, baked beans and hush puppies. I figured I let the issue of them not calling me like they said slide but then after specifically telling them I needed tarter sauce and sauces for the chicken tenders over the phone today. I find out after my son picked it up that we had no sauces. I just think by it being my first time and even telling them it was my first time they would make sure that I was taken care of…… I live in Germantown so I had to make a special trip to the grocery to get the sauces. So our family of 6 ordered for the 1st time today, location on breiel in middletown, I have to say that we are impressed!!! The cashier was super friendly, and the cook was amazing! He did a wonderful job. My husband got the 3 pc perch, we expected 3 tiny pieces, he got 3 great size fillets! He likes the coleslaw as well (which is great because he is coleslaw picky), the rest of us got chicken tenders, 5 pc. Each, and let me just say that was the 1st time my 4 teenagers did NOT finish a meal, these tenders are HUGE! The 1 and only thing we weren't fond of was the hush puppies, but we did eat them! We were really in the mood for fish and chips and chicken, and had wanted to try Crispy Fish and Chicken for several months. It was a bit of a disappointment, unfortunately.

First, let me say the staff was very kind and friendly. However, the service was not very good and it took a very long time to get our order, though there was only one additional table of customers.

I was really looking forward to the mix and match basket with fish and chicken tenders. But the chicken was very dry and over-cooked, and the fish was tough and much more batter/crust than fish. I could not finish the meal because of that. It was also without much flavor, except for the batter.
