Frosty Freez — Restaurant in Middletown

Frosty Freez is a cute ice cream shop. The soft serve is my favorite, but the past few times it hasn’t been as good. Tonight we got a small vanilla cup with chocolate jimmies and the large was the same way. I noticed it tasted a little bit off; like a cream cheese taste is what I can describe it as, on top of it , when you order a size they switch it up all the time THIS is what I am confused about THE SIZES , the small cup was like a kiddie size? Or a doggie dish size? Idk, I know last month a small was a normal cup size so I guess they switched it up. I just think the kids need to be trained the correct cup sizes because you pay for a medium you want a medium not a kiddie. It’s kind of pricey, we are willing to pay it but give us the right sizes. Better luck next year, I wish the vanilla ice cream tasted like it use to.

On the positive note: I don’t like anyone else’s sundaes like frosty freez! Chocolate twist , with hot fudge and peanut butter , Reese’ pieces with whipped cream And a cherry! Hopefully it tastes like it use to next...

We love Frosty Freeze and are regulars during the season! To anybody who complains, you clearly have some issues that need to be fixed. Let me be the first to tell you that yes, frosty freeze is cash only. Who cares, they have an ATM and multiple signs. Second, there is plenty of parking and if you can’t park there, park next door. As for people having issues with the wait times, that would be because they actually take the time to care about your order and perfect it. We’ve tried so many things here but I gotta say, the soft served ice cream sundaes are the best! We love to add their homemade brownies and toppings. The price for everything is reasonable because of the location. Let’s also remember that this is a small business and they outperform larger chains. We will Always...

I'm not a fan of Frosty Frez, but my family swears by it. They feature traditional soft serve flavors, as well as some more unique ones. They carry the sugar free, and only 8 brands as well. Their hard ice cream runs the gambit from traditional vanilla and chocolate to creations such as Play Doh favor. The ice cream doesn't appeal to mw personally, I always find it a bit icy and bland in general. This is also a cash only location, so bring cash or you're going to be forced into using their ATM machine. The staff is friendly, and quick in turning over the orders, but at times this place can be very crowded.
