The Roasted Clove — Restaurant in Middletown

My best friend & I stopped in here for a quick lunch before headed back to the city - we were just expecting to grab some sandwiches for the road but then when we walked in and saw the menu & prepared foods case we quickly changed our minds!

We were pleasantly greeted by the ladies at the counter & in the kitchen before we ordered literally HALF the menu LOL!

EVERYTHING, & we do mean EVERYTHING, was delicious! Housemade truffle chips with garlic aioli, meatball sub, street corn salad, roasted beet salad w/ pepitas & goat chz, chicken BLT, Sam's Chorizo & Meat Pie 😋 - sosososo good.

Atmosphere was super chill, & "Cheers-esque" haha with some good tunes going in the background!

This is def. gonna be our spot after our nights out in Newport 😅 also keeping in mind they cater so we can put the rest of our friends on.

My wife and I split the Reuben on a roll and the beast of the east. The garlic aioli on the beast was perfect alongside the pickled onions, veggies and fresh roast beef. The Reuben on a roll was a nice surprise, I love Reuben sandwiches and usually opt for the rye or sourdough but I am really digging the pressed roll instead, really let’s the rest of the sandwich shine. Corned beef and Swiss are quality and the Russian dressing is perfect. Excited to have this new deli in the area for lunch!!!

Update* Roasted Clove now has crunchy baguette or marble rye as bread options. The Reuben is still awesome, especially on the rye. They also have a great pulled pork sandwich and the Carolina bbq sauce is perfection. Can’t recommend this...
