Well, we hadnt ate there in years, used to when our kids were in school and would have Skate partys next door. So, my husband, son and I stopped in. Long story short, there were 3 of us and we ordered 1 drink and 2 waters. I know I said 2 waters, 1 drink. So for 2 10" subs, 1 6" sub and the large bucket of fries and 1 drink, it came to $36!! I thought wow, that seems kinda high. So we sat down, I said "u know that sounds kinda high" my son looked at the receipt. Well, we were charged for 3 drinks. $4 is $4. So my son took the receipt up to counter w/my credit card -- sooo why??? why was the clerk or manager or whomever able to credit my card for 1 drink but he couldnt for 2 or he didnt understand or maybe he only did 1 and then realized it was 2??? --- whatever HE ASKED US WOULD WE SUBSTITUTE a drink that we didnt order for a cookie. Whatever -- I wasnt in the mood to go on and on about it. Really? So no, probably wont go back. The food was good -- my 6" pizza sub didnt have a lot on it but...
Read moreHaven't been here in a couple of years and wanted to give them a fresh try. The 2 young men and the 2 ladies working were great! Very polite and helpful! But the older gentleman that came out of the back after I had ordered my food passed a sink and didn't wash his hands. Checked the driver thru window and then went to the grill area. Still no gloves or washing his hands. As he stood there and chatted with the young men on the grill and scratching his head and touching the bread, still without washing his hands or putting on gloves! When I left he was on the grill handling food still without gloves or washing his hands! The entire dining area needs the floors stripped. They are slick with grease. To the point that while standing and waiting your feet are constantly sliding apart! If I go back it will be because of the rest of the crews politeness and professionalism! But I will not be...
Read moreDepending on how busy they are ALL Penn Stations can go from fair to really horrible. That may depend on location too. Update: Yesterday I ordered a Dagwood east coast style. That’s all I ever order from Penn Station for myself. They rang up my order wrong & refused to fix it. I called the store twice & was hung up on twice once supposedly by the manager who was very rude. He did offer to give me 10% off my next order if I had my receipt. I wanted my order corrected not something in a few weeks. I don’t go to Penn Station but once every month or so. I’m really pretty disgusted over this. I’m diabetic too. I had to eat some of the sandwich because I took my insulin. I told them this too. I guess it’s just a sign of the times. Extra lousy attention to detail as well as lousy customer service. I am not sure if I will ever go back to any Penn Station for their seriously...
