I went to the store at verity parkway in middletown. I had to use the restroom to wash my hands then I came back to place my order. They seen me standing there and never came to help take my order until another couple came in, then the guy asked the couple what would they like and the girl asked me what I wanted which was fine. I asked for the boss. Which comes with provolone. She didn't tell me they were out of provolone or I wouldn't of gotten that sandwich. I didn't want American or ghost pepper cheese on it because that ruins the meatball sub so I let her know that I didn't want it if they didn't have provolone I even asked for mozzarella she said that was discontinued. So she goes and offers the couple behind me for the sandwich instead of asking me what I wanted. At this point I'm upset I stood there for 10 minutes for them to come to make I order. I told the girl that she should be giving me a discount for making me wait. She said they didn't know I was there since I went to the restroom. But she knew I was in the building and they seen me standing there waiting I even went to register so they could see me. She then said well we were closed anyway. Which they weren't closed when I was got there or I wouldn't of been in store. At this time I was fed in with her rudeness and told her I will go somewhere else. She then asked the couple behind me if they would like another sandwich as she laughed about it. I will never go to this store again and glad I did leave because the ingredients wasn't fit to eat. I eat at subway a lot but after this experience and how rude the girl was has left a bad taste in my mouth. I have worked with public for 38 years and no matter what I would never treat my customers how she was. And I have some rude customers but still took great care of them. I was rudely repeatedly told by the store manager that I should have ordered such a large order online. I didnāt realize 6 subs was a large order. The store manager hovered over an employee and was repeating āyou got to move faster, hurry upā. He ended up quitting on the spot and walked out. She was telling him as he walked out the door āif you walk out, donāt come backā. All this happened in front of customers!! The last 3-4 times I've been in here they've been incredibly understaffed to the point where it's sometimes one person running the show and they're completely new. The bread has been flakey and poor quality. My order hasn't been coming out right. Today their pop machine was down, while it was showing as available online when I placed my order. They offered me a drink from the refrigerator, but most of the selections were gone. I ended up waiting 20 minutes today for an order that I put in 30 minutes prior online, while they took new walk in orders that showed up after I already arrived for my online order.
If you want a better experience go to the Franklin Subway downtown, it's about 5 minutes away...
