What a cool little museum about some of the local Middletown/area history as well as the canal that used to be active there (part of the canal is right outside the door). Plenty to see, learn and experience, and you'll need about an hour. Partly handicap accessible, and you enter the museum via the park BEHIND the museum (look for signs guiding you). Free to enter and well worth a stop!...

Their website fails to say that they're only open April - October. Waste of a trip. There's no parking lot, so I'd recommend driving to Smith Park and walking towards this very small museum (if they're open). The nearby canal was dry, revealing...
