Not a southern boys favorite. I really like the concept of this place and can see it being successful, but there are some missteps in my opinion.
The offerings are pudding, cobbler, peach tea, and cinnamon rolls and only come at one size one price. There are no kids sized items, smaller, or larger options. So of you have kids, you will be paying full price for something that you will throw more than half of it away.
The pudding is the only food item served in front of you and everything else is made in the back. This seemed odd to me as this is called a "cobbler" place, but you are able to view the advertised product before you order it. Just saying I eat with my eyes and when your staple product isn't on display, I get sketched out.
I tried all of the styles of offerings and can say they are just okay. I didn't try all flavors. I tried the banna puding (a southern classic) and can say it was not good. The banana pudding is artificially flavored (tastes like banana laffy taffy) and does not include slices of banana like the classic pudding would. I cant speak on the other flavors but would assume they are the same.
The cobbler was just okay and thought the portions/ratio was a little off. I was hoping for something homemade, but don't believe it is as the fruit seemed canned. My guess is the product is heated up back and the crumb is added before its brought out to you. It tasted okay, but it was not what I was expecting from a true cobbler.
This faired same for the cinnamon rolls. They were made in the back and didn't seem homemade. They seemed like premade as each cinnamon roll was identical in shape. Roll was not soft n fluffly.
I bought a peach tea and it had a good flavor but tasted nothing like tea. It was peach flavored but more of like a juice than tea.
All in all the taste of the items were okay, but nothing I would go back for. Just something so unique as a cobbler resteraunt, I would expect it to be homemade. I hope...

Food was good except service was incredibly slow. It took about 20 minutes for our party’s order to come out.
Once the order came out, the worker said my churro’s will be done in 2 minutes. Well, 20 more minutes go by and still no churros.
Our friend’s bourbon pecan banana pudding was DISGUSTING. The bourbon pecan topping tasted like a spoiled BBQ sauce. So our friend waited for the worker to come back out to the front. Minutes go by and he decided to jingle the literal outdoor wind chimes that were dangling from the door so she would come out. She finally did and complained nicely about it tasting funny and she stated she can’t do anything about it because the bourbon sauce comes in a separate packet and it tastes like steak sauce.
Well, nobody in their right mind would eat a banana pudding with a steak sauce flavor. So she stated again, that she couldn’t do anything about it. And a few second go by and she said she can make another banana pudding with a different topping then. So our friendly kindly said that was fine.
STILL NO CHURROS OUT.
So she goes to the back, assuming to go back and make his banana pudding, and another 15 minutes goes by.
Finally the churros and newly made banana pudding was made. However, we had asked for an order of churros with a scoop of ice scream and we did not get the single scoop.
We had already waited way too long to even think twice about asking for the scoop of ice cream.
Never...
Read moreMy family of 5 walked in to a completely dead shop this evening around 5pm. One employee behind the counter. This was our first time as we happened upon it quite by accident. We stared at the menu for a moment and then explained, “sorry, this is our first time”. The employee said nothing. We continued to whisper about the menu and trying to figure out what was what. The employee then began laughing - we could only assume at us. There was no one else around and I didn’t see a phone out. I felt embarrassed and wanted to leave. It was confusing as there wasn’t a single picture to give us an idea of what we should expect our food to look like. I understand cobbler, Pudding, and cinnamon buns with ice cream. I just wanted a visual of what to expect (size wise, proportion of ice cream, did it look appealing) - some inspiration. There was nothing in front of us but a menu with prices and mostly empty - I assume pudding??- in the pans behind the glass. I didn’t want the last scrapings of that. I just wish the employee could have offered some kind of help or suggestion instead of a giggle and blank stares. There was literally no one else to help or take an order from. We ended up leaving with nothing.
After reading a few other reviews, it seems like the rest of the food was in the back. I guess that was another thing I was confused about. I only saw the pudding and so. much. empty space that I wasn’t sure if that was all that was available. Visuals. You need visuals and helpful...
