Wawa — Restaurant in Middletown

We stopped at this Wawa on the way down from New Jersey to North Carolina and used the restroom. This was a busy location at the time, so there were quite a few people ahead of me in line for the restroom. There were also a good number of people who had ordered food, so I decided to do grab-and-go snacks, such as the all-beef hot dog, the mozzarella sticks, and the chicken bites. The all-beef hot dog is really good and tastes great compared to a lot of other gas station hot dogs. The mozzarella sticks are not AMAZING, but I have some sort of nostalgia for them, so for me, they hit the spot. The chicken bites were something I had not tried before, but I enjoyed them. I just received the driest Mac and cheese I have ever seen. Got old bay on top and i was literally chewing on the dust from how dry it was. Felt like I was doing the cinnamon challenge on the first bite. I understand it was early morning but come on. I’m pretty sure they are allowed to leave the same Mac and cheese in there for up to 12 hours, and it seemed like the one I ordered was 11 hours and 59 minutes old. Does a multi billion dollar corporation really need to nickel and dime for cheap Nestlé Mac and cheese? Like I can’t believe they even gave this to me for real. I’m so mad I drove home just to get this garbage. I’m just stunned. The subs are overpriced trash too just go to jersey mikes if you want one. I’m literally never buying food from any wawa ever...

Wawa is usually pretty good for their sandwiches, but their breakfast is absolutely horrendous.

I got a breakfast bowl with scrambled eggs, bacon, onions, roasted peppers, salt, and pepper.

You'd think that roasted peppers would be heated, maybe even warm. Nope. These most have just came out of the fridge.

Onions should accentuate the meal, not be the main course.

Seriously, the only thing hot in the bowl were the eggs, which tasted horrible because they are not fresh made. These were obviously shipped to the store, precooked and reheated, then covered with cold onions and peppers, and paper this bacon.

I did eat the bacon, because even bad bacon is still bacon. The rest of the food found it's way to the garbage.

Never going to buy breakfast...
