Tillo's Place Restaurant — Restaurant in Midland Park

I’ve never given a restaurant review before but felt compelled to do this one when I read a review here about treatment similar to ours. We used to have brunch here on Saturdays. One Saturday morning only one of the 3 of us had finished eating when the waitress told us they needed our table indicating we should hurry and finish eating and leave. We were absolutely stunned! There was one party that had just come in and I guess they must have been important enough to warrant losing a frequent customer. We left our food and spoke with the owner upon leaving. What an amazing breakfast. It is almost like being at Mom's. As you walk in, you are greeted warmly. You sit down in a small but inviting dining area. The menu is the perfect size, just the right amount to give you option without being overloaded. While the food is being prepared you can hear the single cook whisking the eggs and the sizzle of freshly cooked breakfast meats. The food arrives quickly and it is so delicious. Food is pretty good, in my opinion. The whole diner has this 50's feel, and the staff is nice. The staff remembers my usual, and is always talking to some of the people that come here often. The only thing stopping this from getting 5 stars is the maximum capacity of like 25 people. The diner is so small that even during a rainy day on school hours, its almost full.

Overall: Food is great, prices are good, staff is nice, environment is nice, location is nice, generally a great family restaurant...
