Sadly, I have to rate this place 3 stars overall. First visit was 4 stars. Second visit was 3 stars because the female waitress chastised me, an adult, for not eating the white rice! She said she would have to charge me for not eating the white rice. This all you can eat place has a policy that if you leave food, you pay full price for it. I understand that you donโ€™t want to waste. I ate 100 percent of the fish but was purposely mindful of the carbohydrates intake in leaving some white rice. Wrong attitude by the female waitress to say something to me. My guest felt bad and was shoving the rice in his mouth. My third visit was 3 stars because there was not enough wait staff to handle all customers. Took forever to get certain food items. Had to flag someone down. Then had to go to the front desk to ask for the all you can eat menu. Service was very erratic the whole night. Again, they donโ€™t have enough wait staff to handle all the customers. Our waiter was handling literally the whole restaurant! He was hustling so this is NOT the waiterโ€™s fault. This is the owner and/or managerโ€™s fault. Food was very good but the experience was poor.

One more comment - all three visits the staff forgot to place certain items on the plate. I never got the smoked salmon once. Almost humorously they forgot the eel during all three visits! Once I either reminded them or reordered it then they brought it.

Managers/Owners - Oversee the staff to improve the...

Iโ€™ve been coming here for three years and always thought the food and sushi were great, but tonight ruined this place for me. The food took forever to come and wasnโ€™t even correct. Many items were missing and we were met with attitude when we asked about it. It was near impossible to get water or even a side of sauce. The worst part though, was being YELLED AT by our waiter. All the food arrived at once, and the table was very full. While the waiter put it down he spilled my soy sauce, and he threw the napkins on the table and ran away. The sushi was bad, avocado was rotten, and i quickly filled my small plate with the gross remains. I asked to switch out my small plate, the waiter handed me one and when i tried to give mine back to him he ran away? Then came back and yelled at us โ€œI see you and Iโ€™ll get to youโ€ or something like that. I have worked in multiple dining establishments, and have had to deal with REAL problem customers but I would never YELL at someone paying to eat at...

Really good and affordable option. I'm skeptical about cheap sushi, but this place seemed clean and they have a chef that you can see making everything, so that put my anxiety to rest a little. The all-you-can eat option is such a bargain because it would take a lot of sushi to fill me up, and anywhere else, that's so expensive. Here, we ordered 8 rolls (yes, 8!), had some other kitchen items like gyoza, shumai, hibachi beef, udon noodles, hibachi vegetables, and 2 sodas (all were included in the all-you-can eat price. And the kitchen items were more of samplers that full servings, which is totally understandable and reasonable since you can always increase the amount or portion ordered) and it came out to $65 for 2 people. Totally worth it, and will be going back. There is ample parking in a huge strip mall parking lot, and on a Sunday evening at 6pm the restaurant wasn't...

We ordered from No. 1 Sushi via DoorDash and only part of the order arrived, when I called to check in - the person on the other end of the line was not helpful and refused to refund the money or to deliver the missing items, suggesting I call DoorDash. Perhaps thatโ€™s a routine scam - exclude some items and make DoorDash refund the customer. The restaurant makes the total, while preparing only part of the order. DoorDash / No. 1 Sushi politics aside, my 1.5 year old was left without dinner as a result, so overall it was an unpleasant experience. The part of the order that arrived was fine, not excellent, but ok.

Awesome Asian BYOB in downtown Midland Park [In King's shopping centre]. My SO tried the sushi and I had the dinner box. Both delicious. They also have a "all you can eat" option. The staff was very attentive. The brand new restaurant is beautifully decorated. Hard to believe you are eating in a strip mall...feels like a NYC restaurant. Will definitely go back. They also deliver!
