Pho Vietnamese cuisine — Restaurant in Midland

Since I can't leave a review on Facebook, I'm going to leave this here. If ya'll come after me..well, guess I'll just get ready for it. I had I Luv Pho for the first time yesterday. We were a group of a when we walked in and only ONE table of people were there. It took a pretty good amount of time before finally, one female came around the corner to get us seated. In deciding where we were going to sit, my friend and I noticed that every table seemed dirty, so we finally asked her if we could have it wiped down. I thiiiiink she made a face, but proceeded to wipe it down. She then asked us what we wanted to drink and left. She came back with our cups and water some time later and then she was gone. We sat there waiting for 2 more people to show, but we wanted appetizers. More time passed and finally, even after the 2 others showed (which was a while after), she returned to the table to get our appetizers order. In this time, I noticed that 2 other people had not only already walked in, but were already eating their food. 2 men sitting alone at tables. During this time, any little interaction she had with us, she would make comments that seemed rude, but she'd do them with the strangest smile on her face. I was so confused. No kidding. Like 20 minutes goes by when she returns with the appetizers, plops them down and quickly leaves. By this point, all 6 of us are sitting down. We start eating the appetizers but not only did she not think to take our order, she didn't even get the other 2 with us that arrived late, their cups! 🤦‍♀️ So as she was zipping around seating more and more people coming in, I sure did try to tell her, "we're ready to order and we need a couple more cups here", to which she did not stop, she did not acknowledge, she did not even look my way as she disappeared around the corner. When she did return, she looked to me with an insincere smile on her face and condescendingly said, "so you know, I am the only server here.." Which I didn't want to be rude, so I jokingly said back, "aw man... that's tough!" And she also told me table, "is she in charge?" As she gestured to me....? I guess implying I was bossy?? And still, it took forever to get our food when literally it felt like all the tables who came in after us, tables of 4, 3, 2, were seated and getting their food quick. I will close with this because reviews on establishments are IMPORTANT: The food was pretty decent- good but the service was absolutely terrible. No guest should be made to feel like an inconvenience, let alone be spoken to with so much disrespect. Also, reprentation matters. The girl's hair was a mess, dressed poorly, and she just did not look like she cared. If the owner doesn't want to fire her (I'm assuming she's family), he/she needs to correct her poor customer service skills AND hire more servers. Not good food nor experience at I Love Pho.

I had to move to 3 different tables. The tables were not wiped down good. Once I found a decent table, I used a napkin to wipe it down to make it cleaner to eat from.

As I walked in the girl yells, "How Many?" from across the place. Then she's yells "Sit anywhere you want". She said that to every customer as the walked in the restaurant. It was annoying!

Order the Vietnamese Style Egg Rolls. This were decent taste, but extremely small for the price. (A.1) They did taste non - homemade. hope that I'm wrong.

Order the Banh Mi (Charbroiled Pork Sandwich). Extremely disappointing. Tasted Horrible. Bread was not on point at all. Pork was so chewy that I had to spit in my napkin. No good flavor. Do not recommend this at all. (B.18)

Order the Bun Bo Hue (Authentic Hue Style Noodle Soup, Spicy). The Meat was not tasteful and felt like rubber. Twice I had to spit out the meat in my napkin. I only consumed the broth and vegetables. Left all the meat behind.

Once the food was out, not once did the waiter come check on me, not even to refill my drink. I can see the waiters talking in a corner, laughing, giggling and viewing there phone. Once I was finished, I walked toward the front middle to request my check and pay for it there.

Overall I give this place a 1 star and two thumps down. Horrible food and no good service cost me $18.

Horrible service!!! And I got sick.... I'm posting and here is what happend I asked for the number 7 which is a plate of grilled chicken rice rice vegetables and a fried egg a Friday I'm allergic to tomato sauce for there to be no tomato and I asked for the egg to be extra fried because I don't like the yoke or if they couldn't do that I gave him option just give me egg whites here is what they brought me they brought me drainy eggs running all over my plate and tomato and tomato I'm extremely allergic to tomato so some of the tomato gotten on my food As you can see on the picture I ask for another plate put the rice cucumbers grilled chicken And that's what I ate I asked her to redo the eggs eggs there is 2 Hispanic waitresses which threw a fit almost bullying me and told me that they couldn't do anything because the cooks didn't speak any English and that if I wanted I could go ahead and call the owner and tell them and tell them to hire staff that spoke English no help whatsoever finally convinced them to do my eggs can my eggs came back with one egg and there's a picture of the yolk where they gave me 1 egg seriously this is the 2nd time might come here the 1st time was a horrible experience On my to go order and I tried them for the 2nd time today and it was horrible also the 2 waitresses are the same as one from last time... why are people like this is was one simple thing and thay both came to my table and attacked me...
