Starbucks Coffee Company — Restaurant in Midland

Don’t do order ahead here, no matter how tempting it may be. I have had multiple experiences with this branch where I’ve given them plenty of time (like 20 minutes) and my order still isn’t ready by the time I arrive. I do like that they have order ahead parking, but at this point, there’s no use if they can’t fulfill orders in a timely manner. I don’t do drive-through because it is easier to order ahead, pick up, and leave. This morning, when my order wasn’t ready, I could clearly see that they were short staffed and left without my food because I was short on time and didn’t want to take more time away getting a refund. Sadly, this is a common issue in Midland and considering this is a new branch, that’s very disappointing. I was really looking forward to having a Starbucks closer to my work, but if the experiences I’ve had recently are any indication of how this branch is going to operate in the future, I will be sure to visit the other...

Nasty attitude employees followed by the example the manager Michelle, when ordered a drink with JR at drive through I was excited to order my drink as a enthusiast customer I referenced last years Valentine’s Day drink to see if they can add chocolate chips Jr kept tell me we don’t have that plenty of times when I asked for a manger she answer drive through and was like what do you want with attitude when I tried to explain she was like I don’t remember I mentioned they were chocolate chips inside she added it and passed me to unhappy Jr. when came to window Jr. had an attitude snatched my card so unprofessional then they switched person to hand me my items after asking for names. District manager need to retrain their Customer service training very much needs at this place. Employees attitude definitely impacts the customers and the mood and atmosphere of this...

So I've been to the Starbucks a few times and it's always pretty good. But the last couple times I went have been different. I just left and a guy named Junior help me at the window. He had my drinks at the counter when I drove up to the window all he had to do was scan my phone and give me my coffee... I had a pastry ordered so I didn't mind to wait for that. But instead he proceeded to make more orders as I sat at the window for 15 minutes looking at my coffee... when he finally made it to the window to handit to me, it was all watered down and gross. Also I watched him drop my pastry on the floor it was in the bag so no big deal but that was just the topping on the water down coffee cake... it should be correct Barista etiquette to give you the coffee and wait...
