Super Tacos — Restaurant in Midland

This place is not good at all. I gave them a try for the first time and was very disappointing. Do not believe what other reviews are saying about this place being good.

Cons: Meat is very rough and needs better seasoning. I had to spit half of my meat in a napkin. Chucks of meat with fat, hard to chew. I couldn’t break down the meat. No pineapple on Tacos de Pastor. Alambre Tacos were a joke. It was all meat with very little bacon. Meat was hard to chew. “””” They Charge you for diced onions”””””” $1.00 for unions. I asked why do they do this, the owner (I think he was) said, we don’t have it at the bar with the rest of the vegetables and sauces. In my entire life, have not seen this before and what a dumb response from the guy at the register. I’ve traveled all over Texas and all states, and countries and never have seen this. Only in Midland. I end up paying the extra $1.00 because I like unions in my Tacos. Meat is gross and not good quality.

Pros: Good portion for the price. Place was clean Fast service Provide a small bowl of rice.

Summary: I will not come back and don’t recommend this place at all. I suggest to stay way from this establishment. For them to say “Best Tacos in Town” is false and understatement. There’s better places to eat Tacos in Midland and Odessa. I have attached a photo of the unions I had to pay extra. I enjoyed the Rice, Cilantro and unions better than the Tacos.

Unhappy Customer and...

I'm actually writing this at the parking lot. I couldn't wait to go home to eat my tacos neither wait to write a review. I'm afraid I may forget while busy eating these delicious tacos. The place is clean Variety of salsa and add ons( cucumber lettuce cabbage and etc.) I ordered the chicken al pastor. Not too spicey. The chicken is very moist and soft. The tortillas are cooked to perfection. I loved it. The tripitas r fresh. Not too crispy or too soft. Once again perfecto. The asada steak is juicy and well diced. This food is amaaaazing and good price. Not expensive at all. Also this is not on the menu but make sure to order the grilled green onions...oh lawd...so gooooood. I'd definitely...

Well we might just have the new contender for best tacos in Midland, TX. The selection at Super Tacos is massive. I’m definitely going to make it my mission to try every single one. In addition to the taco shop, they also have a truck that specializes in Birria tacos and ramen. That’s next on my list. 🍜

Tonight, I ordered the Super Special which is the who’s who of tacos: 🐷 Al Pastor 🐔 Al Pastor de Pollo 🐮 De Alambre (steak, bacon, onions, bell peppers) 🐮 De Parrillada (steak, onion, chorizo) 🐮 De Asada
