Main Street Diner — Restaurant in Midland

First time here, won't be the last definitely a fan. Walk in greeted from acoss the room not sure who said, sit where you want. Has that small town feel seeing g regulars talking to the wait staff and they call them by name and say usual, as they are giving them there drink before they ask 😉 Servic was very attentive, my coffee cup stayed full and it wasn't always filled by my waitresses, the food was brought to us hot and they were pretty busy, it was bout 6:30 am breakfast time, parking lot was packed. Just love the constant chatter of people talking and laughing and hearing silverware hit plates and spoons...

I've been twice in the last 2 months. First time I got their special, which I believe it to have been chicken fried chicken. I got their jalapeño gravy and another side-all really good - and the service was good.

I went again today and got the patty melt and the garlic cheese fries- none of it was good. Fries were old and not fresh, although they were homemade. The garlic cheese was good, and the patty melt was mediocre. Service was ok, not sure if they were down waitresses or what.

This place was busy but there was plenty of room. I gotta say, the service was okay, nothing good, nothing bad. Breakfast was good, but nothing special.
