My wife and I had a date night tonight. We came here to try this place for the first time. We walked in on a Friday evening at about 5:45PM. They were busy, but were able to accommodate us quickly. They sat us in a booth and the music was a little loud and it was difficult to hear each other talk. The atmosphere was nice, but felt more like a sports bar type atmosphere. The server came to our table almost immediately and took our drink orders. My wife got the Tequila Rose and I got the Chevy 57. Both drinks were out to us pretty quick. Both drinks tasted very good and my wife actually got another of her drinks. The server was very attentive and she was at our table again to take our order. She came by every few minutes to check on us and only asked us if we needed anything when she noticed our glasses were low or chips were low. My wife ordered the Aguachilie de Filete and she absolutely loved it. She said it had the perfect balance of flavor and spice. I had the enchiladas. I split my enchiladas into half cheese and half beef. Both were very flavorful and tasty, however the cheese was not what I was expecting. They used a completely different type of cheese in their enchiladas than I have ever had before. The cheese stood out and made the enchiladas better than I have ever had before. I recently had a less-than-ideal experience at this restaurant, which I feel compelled to share. My party of 13 (6 adults and 7 kids) arrived and were informed there would be a 30-minute wait. However, after an hour, some of our group decided to dine elsewhere. With only 8 of us remaining, we hoped the wait would be shorter, so we decided to stay and notified the receptionist of our change in party size. An hour passed, but we were still waiting with no update, so we approached the manager after 2 hours of total wait time Thankfully, 15 minutes later, a table was prepared for us. To their credit, the manager did offer us complimentary appetizers to compensate for the extended wait. While we appreciated the gesture, the customer service throughout the meal was not up to par. We struggled to get basic items like napkins, drinks, salsa, and limes, which made the experience less enjoyable. When it came time to pay, we had a question about an item on our bill. Unfortunately, the waiter was dismissive, stating she wasn’t going to argue and directed us to speak with the manager. It was disappointing, as it seemed like they were more eager to rush us out than address our concerns. While the food was excellent, the overall service left much to be desired. Why does the restaurant have a guy going around taking photos of people and then charging them $20 without telling them.

My friend and I ate there today and it was going good until a man came up and asked to take a photo of us. Look, I and someone who is always on edge of scammers, and don’t even normally tend to interact with people who seem like they might scam me, but when the freak does that happen inside a nice restaurant. We said sure, thinking it was for the social media. He came back 10 minutes later and just put the photo on our table, I said thanks and went back to eating. He just sat there and stared at us?? If you’re gonna scam me, at least say something. My friend finally asked if it was something we had to pay for, he said $20. We said we didn’t know we had to pay for it and didn’t want it (also why would we want a photo of us eating, it wasn’t even posed nicely, it looked like your grandma just snapped a photo of you and your sibling just sitting there). He said he would give us a deal for $10 and my friend paid him bc it was SO uncomfortable.
