So I placed order at 9.30pm still waiting for order. It's now 10pm and just got food. Fast food my tailed. Then when I said no cheese cause I'm allergic I get a burger with cheese. This is ridiculous. I'm timeto see how long it takes to fix this and if I'm offered anything for inconvenience. Plus not sure if it was manager or regular staff but one of them came out with headset on blue shirt and jumped in car next to me stayed for a bit then went in. Not sure if that was break but it didn't look good while I waited so long. It came back fast and is hot but outer edges of meat are burnt. I've work most my life in food industry and the service and quality of the food is not up to par. But I will say the car hops are very nice and polite even with the wind,cold and rain from the storm. The rest of staff should be checked. I haven't been to sonic in a long time and I won't be back not in the Permian basin anyway. Also I didn't get anything for inconvenience. But that's ok cause I won't spend my money here anymore. This wasn't worth the 7.50 spent on burger. SMH. I also want to add that when bringing back my proff of payment as unfortunately I left my card at home but knew my numbers, I was brought a different Receipt then what I ordered. Hope I'm charged correctly. Can you spot whats wrong? Now what I ordered was tray T1 in stall 21. But hey the other is cheaper so I'll pay that if that's what I was charge on card. Read moreWe arrived for a group meet-up before 99% of our group, placed our order and waited. And waited. And waited. For 30 minutes. I went to check on our order as the screen informed us our order was on it's way, 5 minutes ago. I was met by our server who was very rude, telling me that our food was still being made and we would "eventually get it". Another server overhead and apologized for the rudeness and said we should have our food shortly. Another 15 minutes pass with no food. By this time, I am no longer interested in the food and just want a refund so I ask to speak to the manager. After another 5 minutes, she comes out and tells me that our order is being "remade" as she spoke and she would also issue us a refund for the order. When the food arrived, the drink order was wrong so we had to go back for the correct drink. She did issue the refund and gave us the meal free of charge, thus the one star. There was another member of our group that had to ask THREE times for the correct order because they couldn't get it right. I'm not entirely sure what the issue was, but this place just did NOT have it together! Out of all the servers, only 2 were busting their butts (NOT including our rude server) to do their job. More than likely will not be back to this location. Appreciate the comped meal but the rest of the experience was absolutely horrible! Read moreDon't waste your time going to this Sonic in the mornings unless you have time to waste in the morning. The last three times I've been to this place it was a joke. Had to wait at least a good 5 - 10 minutes before anyone would respond to take my order, and that's after pushing the button twice, only to be met with a rude snapping voice on the other end. I could understand if the place was busy but that wasn't the case. Last visit I waited while another car pulled up after me, ordered and got served and left before me. I tried to get the attention of someone who I thought might have been the manager but she obviously couldn't be bothered, said something unintelligible and walked off. Last several visits to this location they have been out of basic breakfast product that you would expect a restaurant to have who advertises breakfast. (not to be picky but if you advertise all day breakfast you should have breakfast stuff all day.) I've been coming to this Sonic drive in a lot of years, it's convenient to my house and usually, (about 80 percent of the time)has pretty decent service but unfortunately I've seen a slow decline over the last several years. Not sure if I'll continue to be a returning customer, at this point probably not. If I take the time to come in and spend money here I should at least expect to get decent service.
