The Human Bean — Restaurant in Midland

I had never been to a Human Bean location before today and I have to say, I was really surprised. Even when dealing with the long line, the staff was extremely friendly and took the time to go over a few of the menu items. The coffee selection is solid and well thought out. There really is something for all coffee drinkers.

Also, things like Red Bull / Rock Star smoothies, frozen hot chocolate and the ability to add protein powder to several of the drinks makes this a great place to go no matter the time of day.

Once the order was placed, it was ready very fast. Everything was hot, tasted fresh and the muffin tops were very good (and an amusing item to have available).

This is not a negative, just an FYI, they have the most confusing parking lot / drive through lane set up I have ever seen. It makes perfect sense after you figure it out but it might be surprising the first time you visit this location. It is well worth it so don't let that run you off.

I will definitely be going back again, possibly later today for some chocolate covered espresso beans but if not today then tomorrow...

Since my first post was deleted by the awful management @ human bean, ill make another. Use to be a huge fan of the bean but here recently the staff has been rude and snarky, not to mention my drink has been EVERYTIME! the girl last time told me i didn't know how to make my own coffee so how can i tell them it didn't taste right. When j asked for a manager she shut the window on me and refused to help me. NOT TO MENTION all of their food is frozen and a couple days old 🤢🤢 ive since takin my business to Black Rifle coffee up the street and have a 100% better experience than this sad excuse for a coffee shop they call the Human bean. I highly recommend not going here and taking ur business elsewhere.

There are gluten free mentions on the website, but when asking for clarification the baristas had absolutely no idea about gluten free options.

I explained that I have Celiac’s Disease and need help to make sure I order gluten free. The barista offered me several sugar free options. I tried to further explain that sugar is fine, it’s the gluten that will make me very ill. She then offered several delicious dairy free alternatives. I asked if we could check the syrup label for possible contaminants, but she claimed they had no information available.

I had zero confidence that I would have a gluten free experience. We ordered my daughter a frozen hot chocolate and she said it was delicious. So 5 stars for...
