Went there for the first time on Friday night on the recommendation of a friend and ended up walking out. We arrived and were greeted by a representative of the VA Lottery because they were hosting an event. Super nice, told us what was happening that evening and that someone would be with us soon. No one else is waiting to be seated. Several minutes later a waitress walks by and tells us she will be with us soon…we say great, thank you! The place is not crowded at all. We stand and wait. Eventually she comes back by with one menu to seat us and apologizes again. We say, no problem, thank you and then try to share one menu across the table. 10 minutes later she brings us waters and says she will be back soon. Us: ok, thank you. Meanwhile, someone that I assume is the owner visits the table diagonal from us (with drinks and wings) laughing and joking and walks away. We are still staring at the singular menu and the person that I assume is the wife also visits the other table with laughs and food. Meanwhile, we have decided on our appetizer and entree as well as drinks and no one has come by to take our order. After another 10-15 minutes we decide to leave because no one has come by to take our order. We say goodbye to the VA lottery guy and thank him for his hospitality and go somewhere else. I have a feeling this place will go the way off all the others if they maintain this...

They have a great food and drink menu!! And multiple TVs for all the sports, wide selection of beers on tap, and pool tables for the hustlers. stopped in here for drinks as our car was getting detailed and can’t wait to come back and try the food. We didn’t realize that the old Bailey’s was now a sport bar serving up some legit Vietnamese food. I was so bummed that I had just eaten and we had dinner reservations later so I couldn’t try what looked to be an amazing, authentic menu. Oxtail pho, whole fish, shaken beef, frog legs and cuttlefish? Say less. Talking to the nicest bartender Sarah, we found out that 123 Dzo is female and veteran-owned. They do fun, family-friendly events like live music and even a drag show 😍. If I could give an extra star to support them, I would. Looking forward to visiting Richmond again and...

We recently dined here as a family of four, and unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. While the food itself was fine, the service was severely lacking. Our meals came out at completely different times, despite being simple orders, making it difficult to enjoy dinner together.

It was clear that the restaurant was understaffed, both in the kitchen and front of house. It took an unreasonably long time just to place our order, and despite multiple requests, we never received drink refills. Our server seemed overwhelmed, often focused on bussing tables rather than attending to guests.

For a $100 meal, we expected a much better experience. Sadly, we left disappointed and would have preferred to spend our money elsewhere. If you’re looking for a smoother dining experience, Mekong might be the...

First timers! Our party of four are big foodies. Two of us are veteran workers. Jimmy deserves all the praise. He timed our meal out perfectly. The cooks also did a fantastic job. I loved how flavorful and tender my beef skewers were. My friends loved their foods and drinks. Husband got wings and they were so crispy and moist. Nice flavor! They do serve the sauce on the side so ask them to toss it if you prefer. The blue cheese dressing was good. I got to try a piece of the cuttlefish and it was a bit tough but hosted a good flavor. My friend loved the spring rolls, chicken skewers My bahn mi was very good. I always get a side of broth to make a viet dip. The broth was a tad earthy but it paired well with my sandwich and hubby’s pho. JIMMY!!! You are the best! Thank you for your hospitality and kindness ❤️

Ahhh… what to say…, 123 Dzo Sports Bar and Pho, another one of those hidden gems in the Midlothian area! Although the building at this location may be cursed, with multiple previous businesses failing before, I believe 123 Dzo is here to stay forever. Cold drinks, billiards, darts, and a great selection of Vietnamese food make this place truely special. Do be warned, however, when you walk inside 123 Dzo a chill will roll down your spine and your fight or flight instincts will kick in. It is very much a liminal space and likely the bar spirits go to in purgatory. One of the biggest draws is their 20OZ beer glasses!! Pictures below is me and my good pals enjoying some beer! DO NOT ask them to change the TV channel. They do not know how. ⛔️WARNING: the fried wonton sauce smells like bleach!⛔️

Run, don’t walk, to 123 DZO! The service was a little slow, but honestly, that was totally fine—the place was busy, and it was clear they were hustling to keep up. Plus, the food was worth the wait. The atmosphere is awesome—lots of TVs for watching games, tons of beers on tap, and a great mix of dining and bar seating. They even have games to play and multiple pool tables, which makes it a fun spot to hang out with friends. When the food came out, it was piping hot and incredibly fresh. The pho was absolutely fabulous—full of flavor and perfectly balanced. They also have a great happy hour and a second happy hour on game days, which is a huge win. Overall, it’s a lively, welcoming spot that’s perfect for good food, good drinks, and a good time.
