What a terrible experience. I have heard nothing but great things about this place so I thought I would give it a try. Stopped in and there were no customers in the shop. I looked at the menu on the marquee and proceeded to make my order with the young lady behind the counter. I ordered the 6 pack of cookies. That's where the problem lies. I ordered the 6 pack and was told they can't do that as they don't have a box for it. I said okay put it in a 4 pack box and 2 individual boxes......can't do that. She got the owner up as she was very frustrated. I then had a discussion with the owner who became very, very angry almost to the point I was about to walk out. I'm not going to keep going but bottom line is they couldn't figure out how to make a 6 pack as advertised or adjust pricing...What a place. I work for a national company and make purchases like this on a very regular basis and have never been treated as bad as I have with this experience. All I can say is WOW. Learn what customer...
Read moreMost of the cookies I have tried have been pretty good. Favorites so far have really been any oat based cookie like the simple and delicious iced oatmeal or chocolate based cookie like the cookies and cream or the chocolate peanut butter. The standard sugar cookie is just not good with that icing, I'd rather a sprinkle of coarse turbinado. The standard chocolate chip cookie is a miss too. You get a better tasting chocolate chip cookie baking pre-made nestle toll house dough at home. Some of the sugar cookie based specialty cookies have been pretty good like the key lime and anything topped with jam. The biggest disappointment for me so far has been the peanut butter cookies. Peanut butter cookies are my favorite, but Crunbl's peanut butter cookie tastes like it has zero peanut butter. Much better peanut butter cookie at Lidl for one quarter the price. We will keep trying Crumbl cookies, but are definitely more selective than most...
Read moreAfter hearing positive opinions of this place, I was very interested to try them out. They have a limited selection and the cookies are expensive, about $4 each, although they are relatively large. I tried the standard chocolate chip cookie. It was served warm. Unfortunately, I was not very impressed. It was very soft in the middle, almost as if it had not been completely cooked, and the chocolate was very mild. The raspberry lemonade cookie was better. Served chilled, the raspberry icing had a good flavor and provided a nice contrast to the cookie. Also tried the raspberry cheesecake ice cream. It was good, but nothing special. The raspberry flavor was somewhat muted.
Overall, I thought it was ok. My opinion varied on the two cookies, but neither was worth $4 IMO. I would go back to try the chocolate cake cookie or maybe another specialty cookie, but I don't see myself going...
