The Farmer is my go to menu item: chicken on a biscuit with cheddar cheese, maple bacon, and apple butter. Any sauce that comes on your chosen meal can be asked for on the side such as gravy, apple butter, hot sauce. You can always ask for extra too. The price is not the cheapest, but what is these days. You pay for quality and a filling plate of goodness. Cute way to be called up to get your food is by answering their question of the month. The staff are eager to serve and will follow with your food to your table when you have too much to carry. I recently tried what I learned is referred to as an ICB AKA an iced cinnamon biscuit that is scrumptious too. I recommend the superbly sweet iced maple mocha latte. Skip Starbucks and come here for order ahead pickup, takeout/ to go, or take in the family friendly/ neighborly ambiance. Eclectic seating options complete with high tops and outdoor seating. There are supremely busy times and slower times given the window theyâre open and closing at 2pm. If you have to wait, itâll be worth it. Most of the time, you wonât have to wait long. The atmosphere is lovely and the people are welcoming and aim to serve and please. Adorable little mugs for self service coffee is setup. I noticed they now have lunch menu items if breakfast food isnât your jam. I crave the biscuits and apple butter more than Iâd care to admit. Becoming a regular was a natural easy choice when the people that serve and make the food are just as sweet as the food and...
Read moreThe biscuits were hard to get a knife through it! The gravy had very little sausage (mine had 4 pieces) in it. It was EXTREMELY SPICY! (And I like spicy!) The presentation was NOT appealing! The staff 1. was not trained in product availabilityâŚdidnât know if they had low-fat milk .2. Server asked if we needed anything else and we asked for S/P and was told to go pu over there. (they were not busyâŚonly people there so we would expect them to wait on us, not point Or she shouldnât have asked if we needed anything else) The reason for the 1 star for atmosphere was because I was watching the staff which was my main complaint! The employees that mixed up biscuit dough wore NO gloves nor did the person wrapping silverware which was not touched at the handle but the part that would go in the mouth! The serving size was the only thing we would give 5 stars! But we only ate half because of what Iâve all ready described! So we were in and out in less than 30 minutes. Next time we go out to breakfast, Maple Street Biscuit Company will not be considered! We will spend our almost $30 somewhere else!! (Oh and I felt sorry for a customer that placed an order to go when multiple people that came in after her were served long before her. I saw her go check on the order after several of them were served. (She didnât order much because she left when we did and was only caring a...
Read moreWent to this place for the first time around 9:30 am on a Sunday. WE LOVED IT! Going in the menu looked delicious and it did not disappoint. Aside from the amazingggg food, service and atmosphere was just as great! Zike helped us from start to finish and was extremely professional. Zike was so helpful during the ordering process offering recommendations, answering questions, etc. My younger sister thought the gravy was too spicy for her palette and they were more than happy to help compensate and make the moment right. we appreciate their kindness so much and wish we couldâve tipped!!! (they donât receive tips though) Atmosphere is so genuine; fresh squeezed orange juice, fresh and clean ingredients, open view of kitchen and everything made in house, specialty and brewed coffee options, and fast casual service. Saw many different people: families, couples, and people independently reading or working while enjoying the food and coffee. We will definitely be back and on another note it seems like a great workplace and...
