Was in Midwest City and hungry so I headed over to Napoleon’s where I was met by the smiling faces of Liz and Casey. I placed my order and had it before I could fill my drink! I know there are others that say they’re the fastest, but I would be hard pressed to find another sandwich shop that can match their service and quality for the sandwich you receive! My son and daughter-in-law live close so I walked back and placed their orders, because my son had just had a procedure and was still recovering and his wife was getting meds,so this trip was needed and once again Napoleons did not disappoint on service efficiency and quality of food! So when you’re in the mood for a good sandwich and/or desserts go by and Liz and Casey!

We came here for lunch on a weekday. I ordered a 6" sandwich, and they charged me for the entire 12". After bringing it up to the cashier, instead of refunding me and charging me for the 6" I ordered, they gave me another 6", which I did not want. Their sandwich was okay. As you can see from the picture, they definitely dump an entire scoop of ranch onto the sandwich. There is not enough meat in the sandwich, so I can only taste the bread and the ranch. The ranch overpowered everything on the sandwich and was a mess to eat. I would be hesitant to come back in the future. Super Subs is a lot better, and people should just go to that place if they want a good sandwich.

My husband & I popped into this sub shop and they hit us with the cutest little “his” and “hers” tags on our sandwiches — honestly, I felt fancy. Our order came out so fast . And the bread pudding… listen, it came straight out of the oven with a crunchy top that was basically dessert and whatever that sauce was on top, I need it bottled — or just give me a straw. The ladies working were so friendly I’m pretty sure I could’ve moved in and they wouldn’t have minded. Great food, great people, and dangerous levels of deliciousness.

Used to come here pretty frequently under the original owners, and would brag to people that it was the best deli in Oklahoma. Not so much the case anymore. Rene would be sad to see what his gem has faded to.

Like other reviewers have mentioned, the food is not consistent and quality has gone way down the last couple of years. Has gotten to the point that I have to ask for extra meat because they were only putting one slice on a sandwich. Also asked for extra sauce today, and still had next to none. The other sandwich I ordered was the tuna and apples, which used to be a sweet, delicious mess of a sandwich dripping with goodness. Today, however, there was next to no sauce; and there was so much black pepper in the tuna, that when I chanced upon a piece of apple it was a very disconcerting flavor combination.

Not only has the food quality gone way down, but the atmosphere has as well. Napoleon’s used to be an inviting place to listen to some good oldies and peruse the latest issue of The Oklahoma Gazette. Now, I have no desire to sit and eat.

This be used to be one of my favorite places to come, but I think it’s time for me to say farewell to it. You have no idea how sad...

I used to love this place. But...

The sandwiches have gotten consistently worse and more expensive over the years. My sandwich today was especially disappointing: the bread was bordering stale, the meat was thin and the dressing was light.

The service was not memorable, but it was good - the sandwich came out fast and the cashier was pleasant and didn't pressure me into tipping (a rarity, these days).

But the ambience was boring and generic: If you ignore the sign saying "Napoleon" and the accompanying poster of the little general (both of which feel out of place in the otherwise "generic - Christian" atmosphere), you might think you were in a particularly cheap dollar store - the chairs and tables are low quality plastic, the walls are mostly white with various Bible quotes strewn about, and the unfinished ceiling and exposed duct work give the impression that you're in a large shed.

I can sadly no longer recommend this place which was once my favorite Midwest...

I got the emperor. It advertised having Italian salami, bacon, and turkey. The sandwiches come with lettuce, pickles, tomato, onion, mayo and dressing. Dressing means ranch and it's way too much with the Mayo. When I first go to a restaurant I try to order how they recommend because that's their specialty. I'd recommend getting one or the other or on the side so you can portion control. Big plus was the half sandwich was huge and plenty enough. Way larger than a Subway equivalent. The prices were cheap and it seemed like a mom and pop place. Those are always nice to support. I probably will go here at least once more to give it another shot. Oh, the other thing that was disappointing is the "bacon" was bacon bits and it was only in a...
