Evans Hardware — Local services in Midwest City

Very disappointed as I looked online for a vacuum belt for my Bissell. I looked on Ace Hardware website first and they do carry this belt. Long story short I get to Ace and they are out at the moment so the older gentleman suggest Evans Hardware. I decided to call before driving all the way to Douglas and spoke with an older man at Evans. I ask the man if he carried belts for Bissell and he says "we do have some vacuum belts" I ask the man can you check so I don't waste another trip, I have the belt in my hand and have all the numbers if you could check before I come.....the man gives this long sigh and says "No maam I can not. You have to bring the belt in to compare" WTH! No thanks lol I drove right over to Walmart and bought my belt. Thank you Walmart, I now have...

Took my Husqvarna chainsaw in on November 9th. Picked it up today, Jan 7th!!! Needed a new clutch and oil gear. Kept checking with them as they never contacted me. Each time I was told clutch was installed but waiting on plastic oil gear. After 2 months of being told this, I got the part number from them and made one phone call!! Went today and picked up part and took it to them. Guy plays around with installing oil gear and after about 10 minutes tells me it’s the wrong part! “Well that’s the number you gave me.” Plays around for another 20 minutes and FINALLY gets everything back together! No apologize, thank you, or asked where I was able to get part. They just didn’t care and their customer service is reflective of that. I wouldn’t let them work on...

Evan’s Hardware is hands-down the best hardware store in Midwest City. The store is always well-stocked, clean, and easy to navigate, which makes finding what you need a breeze. On top of that, the staff is friendly and genuinely helpful.
