Setting: Nice little corner spot on the main drag. Easily spotted with signage and flag. Cool design and love the colors. Ample parking on the street. Grateful Dead in background…my type of spot. Communication: Greeted immediately by younger gentleman, presumably the owner. Extremely polite and informative. Able to convey details of each taco. Able to answer questions about each item and help with decisions. Delivery: Within minutes of placing order. Solid packaging for a “to go” order. Easy checkout. Food: Ordered (4) tacos and all proteins cooked perfectly with exceptional tenderness. Veggies fresh and paired well with all tacos. Enjoyed the sweetness of the mint. Favorite was the cider turkey. Admittedly, wasn’t sure about the choice but the slight bitterness of the cider cut well with the moist turkey. Consumed in under 7 minutes. Grade: A+, highly recommend

This place is amazing. The tacos are definitely not what you would find at a Mexican/Spanish or MexAmerican place. This is Native American/Indigenous food. The flavors meld well together. The tacos are smaller than a “normal” taco and slightly larger than a “Street taco”. The. cornbread with maple syrup and candied sunflower seeds is fantastic. The prices are very good considering the food you get. The owner is very friendly and explained everything to me when I first walked in. Come on in if you’re ever in town and I am sure you won’t be disappointed.

The smokey and savory venison chilli was perfect on a cold day! The pork burnt ends and broccoli salad were the perfect blend of salty and creamy. The laid back atmosphere was a welcomed change from the hustle and bustle of fast casual. Patrons seated at the lunch counter comfortably engaged in random philosophical musings with each other and the cook. Very chill place to grab lunch. Prices are very reasonable!

Just made it home from Tomahawks. I am the type of person who loves to experience new food, so when I learned that this place served indigenous dishes I had to try it.

The gentleman who took our order was friendly and willing to be patient with me. Much appreciated. You'd think that since the menu is small, decisions would be easy. Nope. But he didn't get impatient with me.

I read reviews so I knew going in that the tacos were small. He told me that 2 or 3 would be plenty. Not gonna lie, when the 2 tacos were placed in front of me I thought I'd be ordering at least 2 more. I'm pleasantly full. I dont know how but I am.

Now the most important part of any restaurant review. Omg it was delicious. We shared so I got to taste 4 different tacos and maple cornbread. These tacos are the kind of good that will make you stab a hand that reaches for your plate. We will be going back. And I will encourage friends and family to give...

We stumbled upon Tomahawks on an antique shopping trip to Mifflinburg. The food is heavenly and the owner is a truly gifted culinary artist. It is not what you expect from tacos - it is so much better. The native American inspired recipes are simply delicious. Flavors are complex and layered. The food is also gluten free which is hard to find in the area around Bucknell. Every time we are in Lewisburg we drive out to get some tacos. My daughter found out they cater and we just had the most delicious spread for graduation night. You need to bottle that salad dressing- yummy! All our guests were blown...
