This was the worst experience I've ever had at any pizza place. Soooo, let's start at the beginning. I placed the order at 6:23pm at this location for one reason and one reason only. It was on the way home and we didn't want to have to backtrack by going to our wonderful Tecumseh, MI store. I was given a promise time of 6:38pm. We arrive at 6:45pm and there's a lobby full of disgruntled looking customers. Okay, my pizza might take a minute. I waited patiently until I was asked my name for the third time. BTW it's Mark. It's literally in the name of the restaurant that they're employed at. I started to get frustrated and I waited outside.
Ten mins later, I go back in and was asked my name again. I politely told the young man my name again. Oh mind you this guy told me twice at this point that my order would "just be a sec." After all of this I hear another guy reading off my order to be made at the line. Now my frustration is boiling over. I stopped everyone in the restaurant at this point and declared that if that is my order that I wanted it canceled and my money back. I've already tipped them btw. I was going to walk away from that for no reason, other than I'm starting to get angry.
I was told by the "manager" that they "DIDNT KNOW HOW TO GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK." I was asked for my name, again. Yet this time they needed my phone number. I didn't remember the phone number because my number is locked to an old account that I can't access. I've asked about this multiple times as well.
Sooooo, back to my car I go. When I came back in they told me my pizza was in the oven already as if they were not going to give me my money back. At this point I was so very angry that I had my fiance go in and what she seen was unbelievable.
Employees touching there faces and making food. Consuming food and beverages by the prep line. I'm so mad right now that I refused to go back in. Scene prevented. Please don't eat here. Don't go here.
I'm so mad that I may actually abandon my favorite pizza franchise all together. If someone of importance reads this I would love to talk.
P.S. What chain restaurant doesn't have a dress code for its employees? Marcos franchise should be embarrassed by this location.
About the food. I don't know. Might just throw it out and get Hungry...
Read moreTo start the pizza was 5-⭐️, they all loved it! BUT? Ugh smh, that woman working inside rn on 12/31/2023 @ 6pm is very very rude. Idk who peed in her wheetie’s but it sure wasn’t us😒 We’re in town for New years staying across at the Baymont Hotel & ordered a pizza & breadsticks for dinner. My son & I drive across, I go inside & there’s a nice young man at the register & he gets our pizza, sets it on counter & as I’m paying him I threw a 5$ in tip jar, & when I turned back to grab the pizza I asked him about the breadsticks? ( right as I was asking him I had thrown another 5$ in the tip jar bc it’s New Year’s Eve ya know) & that woman turns around “already being rude” telling me I didn’t order breadsticks. Now, lemme just say this, I don’t eat pizza, I only eat the cheese sticks so believe me I don’t forget them. We even asked twice to make sure & for both sauces bc it seemed like she wasn’t either paying attention or was too busy, idk. She’s not a happy person. So she says that she knows we didn’t order them bc she took the order & reiterated it back to us & we agreed- we agreed bc she rattled off the breadsticks for crying out loud😕I’m more mad rn that I threw that extra 5$ in jar equaling a 10$ tip to be treated or talked at rudely. -BTW, everyone loved the pizza! Except that they also didn’t put garlic/parm on the crust of pizza & it’s written on the receipt so she sure can’t argue that one. But people like that usually do smh. Happy New...
Read moreMarco's in Milan MI used to be great....last several orders (more than I can count) have been horrible. Something is always wrong or tastes bad. Most recent order, I ordered two pepperoni magnifico pizzas with double old world pepperoni. Both did not have double old world pepperoni and the toppings were burned. My Italian sub was literally just the bread and toppings partially cooked. Where was the included cheese and mayo I ordered? Instead I got a dry partially roasted sub with just bread, meat, and toppings that all fell apart when I opened it since there was no cheese or condiments to hold it together. Called to tell them that not one thing in my order was correct and the manager used the "excuse" that they were not in the building at the time. I am not sure what that has to do with anything? Apparently a manager has to be present to read an order to the employees or make sure it's right? I understand mistakes happen but this happens all the time now at this location. Found out there is a new owner....that might explain a lot. Don't waste your time going here anymore....used to be awesome but...
