Taco John's — Restaurant in Milan

Owner was nice and customer service great. Food was ok for the price point.

Mango Shrimp Street Tacos- It is a chain so this isn't on this location, but "street tacos" don't use flour tortillas and street taco venders aren't heavy breading and deep frying stuff. Tiniest shrimp with the most breading I've ever had but you can't expect much for the low price.

If you're not into potatoes, the menu gets a bit limited as many items have potatoes in them and 1 of 2 available sides are effectively hash browns. The other side is plain tortilla chips and the nacho cheese sauce you can get from a can.

Overall, not bad for the price point, but I don't think it deserves 4 stars, no differently than I don't think any Taco Bell deserves 4 stars. It doesn't stand out as great fast food or...

It’s a new location so maybe they are still working out the “bugs”, but it’s also Taco Johns so my expectations were already low. But, here are the things I’ve experienced in my brief visits here that should tell you to go elsewhere:

1. I’ve been “double charged” for my order 2 times.
2. The pricing in general, they charge 1.99 on Taco Tuesday, every other location in the area charges 1/2 that. They also don’t have Taco Bravo Thursday and in general all their prices are higher.
3. Rude employees who messed up simple orders.

Ordered my food with no seasoning on the ole's asked to park in front. 15min later I go in to get my food since it's taking forever and they were just making the tacos as I was walking in. The ole's were in the fryer basket and so waiting a couple more minutes I finally get my food and the ole's that were supposed to be fresh and hot were warm and squishy. And ole's don't take 15min to deep fry and to have your employee look me in the face and lie is ridiculous. Never never never again will I go there and would like my money back.
