Beer was good, service was awful. There was a guy and girl worker as well as the owner who was busy pulling in outside tables (it started to rain). The guy was hanging at his buddies table the entire time so really only the girl was serving but we weren't in her section. We were in no rush so we waited 30 min before asking the owner if we could order (during that time another couple at a table next to us gave up and just left). The owner apologized and got us a beer. Waited another 25ish minutes after we finished our first beer - the owner approached us this time and asked if we wanted another beer. We said that we were all set (expecting her to get us our check/ tell us how to pay) - nothing. We waited another 10 minutes and finally went up to the bar (chalkboard out front says not to do this/ remain at table) to cash out with the girl.
I wouldn't go back, but if you have several hours for one good beer -...
Read moreI'll start by saying this. If I could give 0 stars I would. Craftroots is by far, one of the worst establishments i have ever been to. The bar was unclean, unwelcoming and in seriously in need of a customer service overhaul. From my family's and friends initial arrival to the presence we were immediately and obviously treated as third rate citizens. The overall reaction to our presence was aggressively addressed by the employees and owner as unwelcoming, ill-mannered, discourteous and just rude. All of the beverages were far below average and simply said inferior to any other local establishment.
Never again will go to, or ever recommend craftroots brewing to anyone. A visit to your local gas station bathroom would be better recieved.
Do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else.
To the owner reply: there is no way I can find to reply. With that said our visit was between 5-6pm on theb20th of...
Read moreLet's give them the ol' college try. The beers were nondescript - I got two flights so I tried everything they had. I could tell the difference between 4 out of 8. 3 of them I needed to really focus my attention to find the various notes of the subtle differences.
As far as the environment goes, it's crammed into a warehouse, but they did a good job of making it feel more welcoming. It was pretty loud - turning the stereo down would make it easier to communicate. They had the games and decent outdoor seating, so they were making a pretty good go of it.
Really though, I only liked one out of 8 of the beers served. So I don't think I would be back, unless someone I knew was...
