Panera Bread — Restaurant in Milford

I do not usually write reviews unless the food, and service etc is exceptional or worse, not. I have been to the Milford, Ma Panera twice in the past week. First time I ordered the autumn squash soup which I enjoyed very much. But, although I understand keeping the place clean is important, I did not appreciate having to inhale bleach as a worker washed the floor as I was trying to eat my lunch. It was horrible, I had to leave. I have asthma and could not tolerate the smell. Had I known this, I would not have tried to eat there. Today was my second time at this Panera, I ordered what you call your "signature hot cocoa". I would never make this as a signature drink. I have to say, this was the worst cocoa drink I ever had. If you want to become an instant type II diabetic, this is the drink for you. When I ordered the cocoa, I just thought it would be getting a good cup of cocoa and some quality cream. But, not the case here, someone needs to go back to the drawing board and rethink/remix this drink which BTW, way is way too expensive. The cocoa flavor was very weak, I don't know if it is the chocolate you use or it was watered down. The chocolate marshmallows with the chips are way to sweet, the cream did not have a good flavor and the caramel and chocolate drizzle were so unnecessary and over the top. Needless to say I only took a couple of sips and left the drink behind. So, disappointing, I will no go back to a Panera...

About 3 weeks ago I went to Panera for a meal and witnessed a horrible scene, a man shouting in a rude and stupid way at a woman inside, near some shelves with bread, the person who was serving the queue of customers stopped answering due to the man's screaming this is not a healthy environment, no one should treat another person that way let alone a woman, I asked what was going on and the girl said the baker was wanting something. we stood there until the guy realized that we were totally against his attitudes, but he arrogantly didn't even care, the woman he was arguing with fetched something and gave it to him. absurd, a person like that guy should work with animals and not among human beings. I was passing by and stopped to rest and continue my journey and ended up stressing myself with what I witnessed. I called the store the other day, but I didn't know the name of the guy and the woman. I just reported what I saw happen, but whoever answered the call didn't seem...

Love the food but literally EVERY SINGLE TIME, without fail, they mess up the order and/or forget to put items in the bag. I usually order pick up and have learned to check the bag before I leave the parking lot because at this point it is expected that they will forget something. I noticed a sign that said they will give you a free bakery item for the inconvenience but I have never received or even been offered such; but instead get the 3rd degree when I ask for whatever item they forgot to put in the bag. I feel that they should be putting way more effort into checking that the order is correct before sending it out... especially considering the amount you pay and the fact that I have seen and heard several other bad reviews mentioning the lack of quality and accuracy of the order. Really hope the management team will work on this, otherwise I don't see myself continuing to...
