Dogtown — Restaurant in Milford

Let’s just begin with how this is a prime example to never judge a book by its cover. Holy moly! This was amazing! It’s so cool inside such an awesome vibe and everyone who works there is very kind and patient as you just take the menu in and decide what your meal will be. Their milkshakes are the bomb, hot dog with chili and cheese phenomenal, and their tater tots are just pure deliciousness. We didn’t realize that they closed at 4p and we arrived a little before and just sat outside enjoying our meal and taking little time. The people who were working didn’t even rush us or mention it but when we left they came out to clean the area and put the umbrellas away. I would love for one of these places to open in Baltimore because we really enjoyed them. We wanted a quick dinner so we ended up here and ordered a Yuppie Dog, Dogtown Burger and fries. Everything was really good but the hot dog was out of this world, loved all the different options and wish we were in town longer to check them all out. The place gets crazy busy but don't let the line out the door deter you, they get you in and out quick and not because the food isn't cooked to order because it is - they are just that good at what they do. I recently learned of Dogtown from a coworker. We have since started making weekly trips for lunch. We have been trying the various hot dogs and so far they have all been winners. The quality is about what you would expect and I mean that in a positive way. The shakes are very good and the tater tots are some of the best I have ever had. The place is small, a throwback to the hot dog stands of my youth. The prices are fair and the service is great. There’s a few tables outside and plenty of parking.
