I had to come in and edit this on the off chance Mike Jones may see it.. I did not even bring up in my review that I am disabled & did wonder if they gave me the disgusting room bc I have a service animal, which is against the ADA. If you were also mistreated and disabled.. I have to wonder if they have a habit of discriminating. If you see this review & would contact me, I will file a complaint with you & we can also file a complaint with the DOJ for mistreatment of disabled people. Since, I do not want the world to know my phone number or private email address- my gf uses a phantom acct for purchases so she does not get bombarded with spam. If you write to her & title it "forward to Nick"- I will email you directly from my personal email- her email is a gmail address her handle is onlinescar12489 I hope you see this review. This is the most disgusting hotel i have ever been in and i paid for a suite, we would not even stay in the room. they lie about it being a king bed as well and every amenity that is supposed to be in the suite is also a lie (at least in my suite).. I provided the manager and Corporate Hilton 50 plus photos of ejaculate all over the furniture and a million other problems and they did nothing except give me 10k points where the room costs over 140k points. My gf works for Marriott & since I have been w/ her, we never stay at a Hilton, which I always teased her was a better hotel.. but for Xmas I booked a suite at a Hilton who's only criteria I sought was room service- something she has never had at a hotel so I chose the hotel based on the room service menu. We refused to eat in the room or even sit in it and did not want to even sleep in it. We drove over an hour out of our way to go to this hotel. I am disgusted and repulsed that Hilton's corporate did NOTHING. I used to exclusively stay at Hilton's and have never ever complained about anything before. This room was a complete lie down to the bed size & even the clock did not have an MP3 player output like promised in the suites- so the playlist I made- I could not play for her. It was supposed to be a romantic night in a hotel room as a present and was nothing but a nightmare. It is the principle NOT the money- I spent 4 hours on a Sunday (I am an overly organized person)- emailing phone photos- writing a total description of what each photo was and a 3 page document listing my grievances. I work 6 days a week and was so upset they ruined my present to her, I spent all that time hoping Hilton would hold the hotel accountable but no they did not. I will not stay at a Hilton ever again bc of this and I am cancelling my credit card and using the points towards buying things and not staying at potentially another disgusting hotel. I have driven across country with two huge dogs and stayed at 35-50 dollar a night budget motels and they are far cleaner. Literally you could see ejaculate. In my photos- I even laid out money as scale to show the bed was not a king. I do not complain about petty nonsense. I am so upset about this, I am going to find out if there is a higher authority similar to board of health to report them to. Since I escalated this all way to corporate, and they did nothing but send me a generic email that was flagrantly not for me, but just a template- I hold the corporation liable for not policing their own hotels that they put their name on. DISGUSTING and the manager should be ashamed to run a flea bag hotel like that and ashamed for doing nothing about it when an honors member or any guest has egregious...
Read moreI'm a Hilton's Diamond member, I love staying at Hilton..don't ever have any issues until this stay. Two days before my arrival I received a phone call from the hotel saying they weren't able to accommodate my request for a change of the room. I never called them. I told the guy I booked my room in January and hadn't changed my reservation. It was for 2 Queen beds..again booked in January. They downsized my room from 2 Queen to 1 King b/c they were sold out of 2 Queens for Friday night but for Sat. night I could go to the front desk and change my room, also the room rate changed to double the cost I had originally booked for. I never received an e-mail about this change from Hilton, I noticed it in the app. ||||My friend and I check-in on Friday afternoon, I tell them what the guy on the phone told me and these people look at me like I have 6 heads and are like "Yeah, come down in the morning, we'll swap out the room keys for you." Breakfast is $18 a pop...and I asked about my Hilton Honors benefit of the food/beverage credit and the lady tells me I have to change it in the app. Every other Hilton I've stayed at has changed this for me or told me about it. They didn't even mention it, I brought it up. There were 3 people standing there when we checked in. ||||Saturday morning we go out for the day, have all of our bags and I stop by the front desk, someone different and tell her the story of the room and she tells me they can't accommodate my request (granted, this isn't my request this is my org. reservation) and the staff just told me what I wanted to hear. I tell her I need to speak with the manager. The manager isn't around so I tell her to have him/her call me. Later in the day I get a call from the hotel, they can give us 2 Queen beds for our Sat. and Sunday night stays. So when we get back I see the same people from the night we checked in and tell them I need to swap room keys..again I look like I have 6 heads so before I have to tell the story again, someone who I haven't seen before tells them we can swap the room keys. ||||The room isn't as updated as the 1 King bed but we're happy to have 2 beds. I don't really deal w/the staff again until I check out..thank goodness I look at my hotel bill before I leave b/c they had the first time room for $370 when I had booked it for $199..so as we check out I have to tell the story again, I have my original reservation and explain to the guy I'm not paying that for the first night, he changes things and is the most helpful person I've dealt with. ||||No one ever apologized for the inconvenience they put me in or comped me in anyway, extra points or something would have been nice. There were two wedding parties that weekend so I know we got bumped to make them happy, but it was annoying how no one seemed to care that they messed up our reservation and didn't see it as their fault. Normally the staff being meh has nothing to do w/my stay, but in this instance it was everything. I'll be staying elsewhere if I'm ever back in this town. ||||The room was clean, had a fridge, AC worked okay, first room was updated, second room we...
Read moreUpon entering lobby seemed nicely done, lots of seating with a lounge area on the right and restaurant seating on the left. A bit strange how far back the check in desk was. Customer service was nice at the desk. Had cookies available at check-in. And as always a special with Hilton hotels as I have found, one of my room keys didn't work.
I received a room on the ground floor exactly across from the pool. I do not recommend getting a room anywhere near the vicinity of the pool unless you plan on living in it. It was convenient for us at times I must admit but having small children and trying to keep them asleep while people party in the pool room until 11pm at night is not so fun.
The room itself was spacious in size. Beds were average not the most comfy but not the worse, we could hears the springs popping at times. Random stains on the wall and carpet. Visible amounts of dust above the lamps and left over brackets/screws in the wall. Ironing board cover was covered in stains and all torn up, probably would ruin your clothes if you used it. Bathroom fixtures all had rust and the tub even had rust stains. The rim of the sink that is supposed to be sealed into the counter you could see gunk/mold on it. Bathroom was small overall and door almost brushes against the toilet when opening. Towels were lacking. We had a 2 queen room and we got 2 bath towels and 4 washcloths and 4 hand towels. An easy chair was in the room and had an ottoman that was worn and stained on top. The heater was very wonky and had to be set at like 78-80 to maintain average room temp.
Pool room was tired and in need of updating. Mold spots and chunks of paint missing. Paint bubbling and ready to burst/crack from the ceiling. Pool seemed to be dirty and in need of a scrubbing. You could see gunk on the white tiles that had the depth markings and also there was sand/grit on the bottom of the pool. POOL NOT HEATED at all and they do not have a pool heater. They will however crank the heat up in the room full blast to make up for lack of pool heat but still not the same. Pool towels were not stocked the first night and I called for some and they brought exactly 5 in. And then the next morning still no towels and I called for some and they brought us tiny bath mats to use as pool towels. Bathrooms clearly weren't cleaned in awhile yet had a shower with chair and a changing table. Women's bathroom had poop smears on the wall by the toilet, clear large chunks of something behind the toilet. Soap was out and I told the maintenance guy and it was never filled during the stay. And the smears were there for our whole stay as well. Definitely did my best to avoid that bathroom.
We did not eat from the restaurant during our stay but they do have room service available as well. Morning breakfast buffet was $12 a person and $8 for children under 8.
I think this hotel needs some fresh maintenance and management. It is slipping and on the brink of falling into 3 star ratings instead of 4...
