Stay far, far away !!!one of the worse interactions I ever had with an owner of any business. I called up to order a bruschetta deep dish pie. I asked the girl on the phone how thick it is and she told me basically in-between a scicilian and regular pie. So I ordered it. I picked up the pie and when I got home it turned out to be a thin crust scicillian with barely any cheese on it. See pictures So I called back and spoke to the owner. He basically told me to go F myself. This is the way he makes it and he has been making it this way for 30 years. I tried to explain to him what the girl told me on the phone but he didn't want to hear it and called me a liar. I can forgive the pizza but not an owner who talks to his customers that way. $26 for aa pizza that is about as thick as cardboard, has very little cheese and was very bland. Save your money and go to John's of Arthur Ave in Milford instead.

We were regular customers. We placed an order tonight for 1/2 regular pizza 1/2 with mushrooms and black olives. We also ordered an eggplant Parm, garlic knots, and poppers. We received the pizza and it was clear that the driver drove a bit fast because the cheese was everywhere. No big deal. I picked up a slice and the pie was soggy...like uncooked dough. I could only salvage half of the normal slices for my kids. We give the pizza place a call. Well, the manager on the phone told us that mushroom pizza will always be soggy so we live really far but she could get another pie out to us IF we give her the full pie and she literally said the second pie would be the same since mushroom pizza is always like that. We've spent a good deal of money with this place but no more. John's of Arthur Avenue always gets rave reviews and probably doesn't treat their regular customers the way we were tonight.

In terms of ingredients, the pizza tasted perfectly fine. My only complaint is that it wasn't cooked as long as it should have. I thought it was cooked through because the bottom looked crispy, but as soon as I went to fold the pizza in half, the bottom layer cracked in half and revealed that the inner layer was completely doughy. All that matters to me is that it didn't make me sick. But, I'm not sure that I particularly enjoy chewing on dough. Staff was nice, place seemed clean and welcoming. Nice area to sit outdoors. Would be great if it wasn't for the doughy-ness.

I have been wordlessly giving 5-star Google reviews to every establishment that I enjoy for a decade. I have not once been antagonized enough to sit down and spend time writing a scathing review. I am not someone who usually complains.

Joey's deserves this.

If this post is too long to read, briefly put; buy your pizza from John's of Arthur Avenue, down the street from Joey's. John's deserves your business. It demands a premium but is all around better food than Joey's, and I've never been treated as disrespectfully as you are about to read.

Their food is described as "economy" at best.

I will never buy from Joey's again.

I've been ordering from Joey's at least once a week for 4 years since moving to Milford, PA, as my family loves pizza (and who doesn't like to start their weekend off with it?)

The night this incident occurred on, I ordered for delivery via Slice as usual; each time I order on Slice, I get an immediate text reporting that my pizza will be later than advertised on Slice, as they are busy. Fine, this happens every time.

The pizza arrived almost an hour and a half later, beyond Slice's projected time. Fine, whatever, the pizza although late isn't usually this late.

It arrived cold. No one orders food for it to arrive cold. I contacted Slice about 5 minutes after delivery that the pizza was cold, and they told me to please wait for a callback. Slice didn't callback for over half an hour, so I called them again and requested an update. A few minutes later, they returned with the message that Joey's would be doing nothing at all to rectify this situation.

I called Joey's directly and asked to speak with someone who could help with a complaint. The man on the phone was rude, would not stop talking to listen to a word I said, and told me he could not help me. That I had to come to Joey's with the FULL order in order to get it remade.

It was very late into the evening at this point, and my family had been waiting almost an hour and a half to eat. I warmed up two slices of pizza for my boys to have something to eat before I called to complain. I told the man on the phone this, and I was told abruptly that I would not receive any refund or discount because of the two missing slices. "We were busy tonight."

This is what Joey's thinks is good business? A cold delivery made an hour and a half after my phone call, that I would have to bring to them late in the evening for them to remake it, no offer of a discount or refund?

Despite dozens and dozens of orders made by my household without a single complaint from us for 4 years (pizza has arrived late, and it has arrived lukewarm, but never this late and cold), I was essentially told to shove off.

I sincerely hope anyone who reads this just takes their business to John of Arthur Ave. Joey's is too busy to deliver warm pizza on time, we should all give them a break and some breathing room so they can keep up with their business and delivery their services...

So, some of my 5* reviews are because the places I went to are absolutely exception.

Most of my 5* reviews are because the place was exactly how I expected it to be and I have no "real" complaints. Is Joey's Pizza anything really special? No. I'm from New York and have been to Chicago and been to Italy. The pizza is pretty regular - though it's still very tasty and satisfying. But it was exactly what I expected so I have no complaints there.

Is the food reasonably priced? It's expensive overall but priced adequately for the area and the cost of just... generally everything right now anyway. Was I shocked to see the prices of the food I ordered? No. They were exactly as expected, all things considering.

Is the place fancy? No. Is it clean? Yes. Is it comfortable? Yes. Are the people nice? I think so. There's one person who works there, Marie, who was super cool. I loved that she wasn't over-the-top with her customer service, her attitude was chill and calm, and she was friendly without seeming to be fake. She was very prompt and efficient! And she came around the counter to put our food on the table instead of having us get up to get it (which was nice). So thank you, Marie!

Joey's is a very regular pizza joint, good for a quick bite or some takeout. It's not the best pizza ever and it's not a 5 star restaurant but I don't think it's really going for either of those things. It /satisfies/ and honestly, I think...

Finished a job nearby at 8 and figured everything would be closed in a quiet town like Milford. Was happy to find Joeys open until 9. Classic strip mall NJ style pizza. I mean that as a compliment. This is the kind of place I’d expect to find in any random shopping plaza or strip mall in NJ. Reliably good plain/pepperoni slice. Buffalo chicken slice was a bit too dense and heavy on cheese. Crust reminds me of pizza back home. Looks like some classic NJ pizza making snuck over the border into Milford. I would come back here again. Because of the crust being so good I would probably try one of their Stromboli’s or similar. Big menu. Friendly staff and location looked clean. I was hoping for a margarita or white slice ready to heat/go, but like most pizzerias during the pandemic, they seem to have less ready to go at night. I’d love to come back for lunch sometime. Long drive home but with a smile on my face now thanks to the pepperoni slice and the crust (lol) from the Buffalo...
