Golden Fish Art Gallery — Attraction in Milford

Easily the best part of our trip to Milford. The owner, John, is absolutely charming- lots of his artworks and other creations are for sale. Really good drawings with a 60s fantasy illustration aesthetic- detailed, trippy crosshatched linework in a similar vein to R. Crumb, full of wizards and warriors and adventurers. Lots of fun, out-of-this-world art in various media by members of his family too. Also lots of art with a biker vibe- apparently the store hosts a bike rally each year!

We stopped in on our way out of town and wound up talking with John for nearly an hour about his life and art and writing while he showed us around. I wish we could have stayed even longer. Nice small antique and museums in Milford PA. Store offers nice jewelry, antique stuff and best museum to see at no cost. Owner is a very nice person. It was a great pleasure to chat with him and understand lots from him . Good place for children to see great Museum. Loved to see store and looking forward to seeing back again and again.
