If you are a weary traveler looking for respite from a long day on the road, or you are a local looking to imbibe after toiling the proverbial fields of the Greater Nashua Area, this is the place to do just that. It somehow figures out a way to be classy and charming at the same time. You could be a baron from the West, or even one of ill repute from the North; Olde Kilkenny Pub judges not. It even seems the unfortunate men who are not mustachioed are allowed on the premises. Though there is a noticeable lack of the harpsichord, a good tune is oft heard in the background.

The self aggrandized may confuse the bartender's efficiency, with hostility. Some strange poor reviewer (just below me, and one assumes, from the North) may even raise a fist in anger after being asked for money in exchange for drink! I'd only been to this pub once before and had a blast. Great conversation, strong customer service, and a divey ambiance. However, during my second visit, I took my nightly arthritis pill at the bar and the bartender immediately accused me of doing illicit drugs. After offering to show her the prescription bottle, she demanded that I leave. When I shrugged it off and assured her that this was simply ridiculous, she informed me that drug use would not be tolerated. I wholeheartedly agree with this policy, however, I'm still scrambling to understand how it pertained to my situation. I departed shortly after to avoid further confrontation; not planning on giving them my business again.

I might pop a Tylenol next time and go completely...

Went in with my girlfriend around 2 on a Saturday afternoon, bar tender was extremely rude and hostile for no reason maybe because we weren’t regulars, pretty sure the drinks we got had no alcohol in them. I love dive bars and it was a cool place but the bar tender could at least pretend to be half decent. She seemed like the kind of girl that only cares if your hammered and throwing money at her because you think she’s hot. Finished our one round of drinks and left. Maybe the nightlife...
