Seafood cooked in butter? Bread soaked in butter? I am SOLD! The baguette is toasted with the right amount of butter - not too greasy like you’re just eating butter. There’s still that crunchy texture from the bread. The portions are also big so we basically shared the food. They were not stingy with the meat and lobster on each sandwich either. I always like my seafood with New England clam chowder if it’s available, and it was so I got a pint of it. All it was missing was some garlic bread to dip into the clam chowder. I ordered the lazy lobster roll, crab cakes, the ribby roll, shrimp po’boy, and a shrimp cocktail. My least favorite was the crab cakes. The sauce was a little too sour for my taste but by itself, crab cake was bland. The shrimp po’boy was probably my favorite. It was seasoned perfectly and the shrimp was not over cooked. The lazy lobster roll wasn’t bad either but smaller size compared to the other sandwiches. The ribby roll was mixed with potatoes and just the right amount of barbecue sauce. Again, the clam chowder was good. Very creamy and sandless (lol). The shrimp cocktail was one big shrimp but the sauce was delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would most definitely come back and revisit. It’s also BYOB and don’t you know it, the next block is a liquor store so guess where I went to get my drinks and bring back to The Lazy Lobster?

Arrived at 11:59am. Were told they open at noon and to take a seat as someone would be right over to give us menus. Shortly thereafter, a single man sat down at the table behind us, 3 women at a table next to us, and a family of 5 behind the table of women. We were provided with menus last, served last and when food was brought out that was meant for our table, the family of 5 claimed the dishes. We were then brought out a plate of garlic bread - meant for the family. At that point, we had to reorder our meal since the family had eaten it. The steamer bowl states - 10 clams and 20 mussels on the menu. We received 9 clams and 14 mussels, 6 of which were not open. But we were still charged the $23. (I also had to request plates as they were never brought over.) When I tried asking the runner if they had a restroom, he legitimately ran away while I was speaking to him. (Or trying to speak with him.) Odd thing, the restroom only has paper towels to dry your hands, but no trash receptacle. Not sure what that was about. Market price for the lobster roll is currently $36. Drove 2 hours for a lobster roll - price of the roll was not an issue. That part was actually good. The attitude of the servers and the lack of attention - not going back.

Update*** Just stopped in to try their winter menu and I have to say the mac & cheese is incredible. Unbeatable. The house made breadcrumb with bacon is FIRE! I've been up and down the Eastern Seaboard and The Lazy Lobster has always been a favorite of mine. With their fresh Maine lobster served on their rocking signature roll you can't go wrong. To my delight, they cater as well as do drop offs which I've used for large events and smaller intimate gatherings - I recommended them for a good friend's wedding last summer and it was perfection. Sometimes they have this funny old guy, he is a dam riot. Looks like you'd expect the chef to look when the food is fantastic. As a bonus their BBQ ribs are something of a dream too. They use these bad boys to make another crowd favorite the dangerously delicious "Ribey" roll - It's big enough to share! Check them out. You won't be disappointed. Update** The Lazy Lobster, to my delight, is now open during the winter with a weekly menu that changes week to week. I showed up and enjoyed their fabulous towered lobster grill cheese along with a butternut squash soup topped with a prosciutto crisp and maple cream. You definitely have to swing by and check ot out!

Dear Lazy Lobster,

I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for the outstanding dining experience I had at your restaurant recently. The tasteful lobster roll I enjoyed was absolutely exceptional, and it left me craving for more.

The lobster roll was a true masterpiece. The lobster meat was perfectly cooked, succulent, and enhanced by the rich, velvety butter and a touch of salt. The combination of flavors was absolutely divine, and each bite was a celebration of seafood perfection. The baguette, with its crusty exterior and soft interior, provided the perfect vessel to hold the delicious lobster filling. It was a truly tasteful and harmonious marriage of flavors and textures.

Additionally, I must commend you on your shrimp po boy. This sandwich left me speechless with its exquisite flavor and generous portion. The Cajun-style shrimp was perfectly seasoned, adding a delightful kick to the dish. The coleslaw provided a refreshing crunch, and the baguette, once again, proved to be an ideal choice for this sandwich. The pièce de résistance was the hot roasted remoulade sauce drizzled on top. Its rich and tangy taste elevated the sandwich to a whole new level of culinary perfection.

The entire experience at Lazy Lobster was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I entered your establishment, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a welcoming ambiance. The attentive service and the attentiveness of your staff only enhanced the overall experience.

Thank you for providing such outstanding cuisine and a memorable dining experience. Your dedication to delivering perfection in every dish is evident and greatly appreciated. I cannot wait to return to Lazy Lobster to indulge in more of your...

I was overwhelmed with the food and the kindness of the entire team at The Lazy Lobster. We were planning a surprise 70th birthday for my brother at Bayview Beach where we spent every summer of our childhood and hadn’t been back in over 55 years..We wanted to recreate our memories which included lots of wiffle ball games on the beach, fishing in the creek , time spent with our cousins and clams, lobsters, seafood. I found the menu at The Lazy Lobster which was perfect! Scott worked with me through many emails and even though it was their first weekend they were opening for the season and didn’t have their full menu yet, Scott accommodated every request. As we got closer, Daniel was so helpful on the phone with last minute questions and details and when we picked the food up on Saturday Daniel was amazing. Everything was ready, marked, cooking instructions explained and helped us carry everything - it was a lot- to the car and had told the entire team at The Lazy Lobster about our event and how important it was to our family so everything would be perfect. And it was. The food was amazing - corn, clams, ribs (my oldest brother who is very particular about food said they were the best he ever had), po’boys, lobsters and I think most everything else on the menu- everyone was thrilled with how good it was and they were also excited to take the leftovers home to New York and New Jersey. I can’t thank everyone enough for making our surprise birthday weekend a truly memorable time , even after all these years. We’ll...
