The place itself is very cute and conveniently located. Its a fairly new spot so I can sympathize with the hurdles they have to jump through to train staff but I was really disappointed by my first visit. I ordered $40 worth of food - at first the owner was there but left around 3 PM, the girl at the counter was new and had very little knowledge of the menu and how to use the cash register. I was turned off by that but understood it was her first day. After the owner left, another girl came to help the new girl. I asked her where the pastries were from and she did not know....I thought that was surprising seeing as they market the baked goods so you would assume they knew what bakery they came from. I am also a little surprised they do not make their own baked goods. After I waited 20 minutes for 2 sandwiches....I asked both girls if my order would be ready soon because I had to pick up my daughter. They asked me if I played an order....? It was very strange because I had just ordered my food, paid for it, and I was literally the only customer. The never gave my order to the cook. I said that was OK but could they ask how long it would take....the cook said 15 minutes so unfortunately I had to leave. The girl ended up giving me a gift card because she didn't know how to give me a refund. I'll definitely try the place again but If I owned the place, I would make sure my staff was 75% trained before Ieft them alone. The prices are extremely high so great service would soften that blow and make the experience...
Read moreThis brand new, stylish, adorable coffee shop is just what this neighborhood needed. I stopped in for lunch and had their Lifeguard wrap and almond milk latte. So delicious! This is a perfect spot for those who need a quick bite to eat, or spend the afternoon working on the computer, or go for an afternoon coffee date! Because this establishment is new, the wifi wasn’t readily available, but the girl at the counter was able to help me connect my laptop to their wifi so I can work on my homework. I used to always go to the nearest Starbucks, but I think I will be coming here more often to support a local business. Other positives is that their coffee is fair trade, ample parking outside or around neighborhood, you can sit outside, and outlets close to some tables. I can see myself coming here especially in the summer to grab lunch, then take a short walk to Walnut Beach Creamery. I wish them all the best luck, check this place out, you won’t be...

It's a fantastic neighborhood spot, whether you're looking to hang out with friends, find a quiet corner to work in, or simply relax and people-watch after a leisurely walk on the beach.
The drinks menu left me impressed, especially with their inclusion of modern and vegan options. I opted for the pumpkin oat milk chai, and it was nothing short of divine. The flavors were balanced beautifully, making every sip a delightful experience. But the surprises didn't stop there. The pistachio baklava, a creative and wonderfully executed dessert option, was the perfect accompaniment to my drink. It was nice, with just the right blend of sweetness...
