Baskin-Robbins — Restaurant in Mill Creek

Im not the type to write reviews but the attitude of a young lady to my mom was disrespectful and immature. Me and my mom walked in (we haven’t been to BR in years) and two young ladies come out, one served me and the other served my mom. My mom got her ice cream first and went up to go pay while I was still getting served by the other young lady. But my mom said she was struggling to get her wallet out while holding the ice cream and she dropped the ice cream, my mom quickly apologized while the young lady that served my mom, cleans it and ROLLS her eyes as she walks away, while she gets my mom a new ice cream, I hear the girl aggressively opening and closing the glass shield, same with the ice cream scooper, and said to my mom with an attitude “next time use these ice cream holders” (and my mom never noticed the ice cream holder because she was struggling to get her wallet with one hand) But the entire time my mom was struggling to get her wallet she just watched my mom and said NOTHING. I am a huge fan of Baskin Robbins. Always enjoyed going there and chatting with the owner about our kids. My daugther wanted her birthday cake from here and she picked out everything on the cake. We made the order one month before. On the day we get there and was told there was no cake made for us. We were told the person that makes the cakes didn't show up last night. A few days later I called to speak to the owner. I was hoping she would have at least reached out to apologize. But no, I had to call and tell her the indicent. Her respond was " what do you want me to do". It was very unfortunate the way she handled the situation. Yes we got a pre-made cake off the fridge. But the whole point was the experience for my little girl that was waiting for so long to go there and make all the choices herself. I was really hoping the owner would have taken responsibility for the situation, but all I heard were excuses how she was tired and haven't had a vacation in a while. We are regular customers and bring my kids and family there a lot. I will be reconsidering going...

The younge lady working last night (which is when my actual visit was) had great customer serve and was super sweet and bubbly. There were 2 flavors I was having a hard time picking so she allowed me to sample both. When I arrived she wasn't just standing there waiting for a customer but was actually working. Meaning she was cleaning and turning the ice creams until we were ready, I personally find that to be awesome work ethic and should always be accounted for :) I will for sure return. In fact enjoyed my experience here much more then I did when going to Coldstones couple weeks prior. Which mind you was actually my first time at a Coldstones. Anyways the point is this place was clean and had a great family atmosphere as well as super yummy ice cream with decent prices.
