According to Google, three stars means "it's okay" and two stars means "disliked it". I wanted to go for three stars, but it didn't fit my experience. The wait times can be long, and after waiting the features did not make up for it. I'm surprised more people go here than the similar place at 328 Broadway called healthy dessert. It must be because of the younger crowd and atmosphere. This place is priced slightly cheaper than the other but has a more limited selection and not many pictures of their dishes. When I wanted to order my item, they said that they ran out of it an hour ago however, it's more likely that they just stopped making them at this hour. A good dressert place should carry adequate stock and make their deserts until their designated closing time. Or at least annotate the available hours for a specific item on the menu. Long story short, I recommend going to the other dessert place less than 100 feet down the road. Both of these places are Chinese and like to avoid their taxes and the credit card fees by taking cash only, so make sure to bring cash! Again bring cash, and that's for either place. If you don't get here early, it's not worth the wait especially if they are out of an item you want. I sat at 11:15 or so and their hours run till 12:30 Pros
Younger crowd Pretty much everything is below 10 dollars
Cons
No wifi Cash only Limited hours for certain items not advertised/run...
Read moreI love the desserts here because they are "just right" - not too sweet, tart, or heavy! But Sweet Indulgence is more than just dessert, and as such it makes a great hangout spot - you can get together with friends, have snacks, desserts, tea and coffee.
The interior is brightly painted and clean, the ceiling adorned with lamps shaped like helicopters, airplanes, and clouds. Dioramas line the windows, depicting Taiwanese night market scenes that are attended by characters from "My Neighbor Totoro." Even the seating is reminiscent of a fanciful candy land.
The staff is friendly and attentive - you'll be asked to seat yourself, and usually will be attended immediately. Sweet Indulgence is near SFO, so it makes a great place for get-togethers on the way to the airport. Parking can be tricky during busy times, so carpool if you can. Millbrae can also be windy, so bring a...
Read morethe boba there was good, but i had their ramen, and while the price was cheap, they kinda had some false advertising, i ordered a egg and sausage ramen bowl, and i guess their version of a sausage is hot dog :/ and dont get me wrong, ive throw a hot dog in my ramen plenty of times, but first off sausage and hotdogs arent the same in the US, so just call it what it is, say its a hotdog, and secondly even if i had wanted a hotdog (which again is something id order) that hotdog just was not cooked well and looked p horrid, i honestly have no idea what they did but, theyd be better off just frying it up in a pan, before putting it in that soup, cuz that hotdog just wasnt it. i haven't tried anything else but that and the boba, im only commenting on the weird hotdog soup...
